*I've never written a review before, but felt compelled to warn other people about this battery* I have been using this battery pack for almost a year now. I was really enjoying it because the charge time and life of a charge was excellent! I even started using this more than my 3 Xbox branded batteries. It turns out that this was a bad decision. I didn't think it was a big deal to use a little more force to take the battery in and out of the controller, when the Xbox battery smoothly goes in and out. I noticed awhile ago that the battery was popping in and out much easier. When I finally looked at the back of my controller, I had two small cracks on both sides of the bottom lip that holds the battery. I checked my other 3 controllers and noticed that they all had the exact same cracks in the exact same spot. I now have to wiggle the original Microsoft batteries just right to make sure they make good contact, but the Nyko battery still fits well. I now have 4 cracked controllers all courtesy of this battery that was excellent at first. It still holds an excellent charge, but I no longer take it in and out of my controllers. Just curious as to why people are selecting 'not helpful' on all the reviews that warn people about the batteries cracking the controller!

Ive had 3 or so of these now, they are the right price. the battery life is impressive. overall they are a good buy. I am a little disappointed with the having to replace it after 9 months to a year. they eventually just don't hold a charge longer than 10 minutes or so. this is typical for any battery. though it seems a little shorter than most. would be nice if it was closer to two years. anyways, still, for the price, its a good buy. way better than AA batteries.

It's a good product . Other than the sticky cover it comes with on the back of the battery that you have to remove. Now the back of the battery is all sticky. I had to rub my fingers on it to wear it off.

This battery combined with the charger makes it easy to have your controller always ready to go. I got tired of constantly swapping batteries till I started using these.

I have a few of these now and find that I have to buy less disposables. The battery life is ok, I can play for several hours on a charge. Biggest problem is my kids using up my charges and not recharging them.

I bought this for the Xbox 360 controller. Works great and charge stays for long. You need nyko charging base to charge the battery though.

I always buy these batteries as I have used them for years at a time before they go bad. I also have the charger so that I just put my controller with thus battery in it on the charger and they charge rather quickly.

I'm on my 4th or 5th Nyko battery pack. I first tried them several years ago, and, for the most part, I've been quite happy. My usage, I would consider moderate. If you're looking to something that will last 12 hours straight, I can't speak to that. My gaming sessions used to last 1-3 hours at a time and so I'd charge it every 3rd or 4th sessions. It works fine with the official MS charge and play cable. The only thing I would caution you about is that in the 4 or 5 that I've had, I did get one dud. I used it in a second console that I would go many months without using. It charged a few times but then stopped holding a charge. I suspect it totally drained due to lack of usage and then wouldn't take a charge. Check out Wikipedia on rechargeable batteries and eneloops for info on that occurrence. Even after the "dud", I'm happy to give these another go because all the other times, they worked well and the price is great. One last note, I did own 3 of the official MS banded battery packs and I found them to be no better than Nyko's offering while costing quite a bit more.

Fast recharge but is a tight fit and cracked the backing to my controller

Great battery. I have been using these for several years. The store near my house had them on sale and I didn't know how long before they would be discontinued because of the Xbox One, so I bought two.

Great to add to your xbox 360 controller. Have hours of uninterrupted fun with a single charge. Save in the long run not having to buy a bunch of disposable batteries!

It last a long time. Great product. Last days without being on the charger.

I use this with a Microsoft charger and haven't had any trouble. It seems to hold a charge as well as the Microsoft batteries and lasts about as long.

This product works great for gamers who play for long periods of time. No more batteries to buy just place on the charger over night and play all day!

these are great to use because all you have to do is charge them for a few hours and your good to go for a few days.

I bought this to go with the wireless controller I bought for my son.The controller came with a bettery pack of course,but, it gets tiresome buying a batteries. Now he has a rechargeable battery for all 4 of his controllers so he and his friends can play nonstop when I let them.

I bought this battery as an addition for my new console. I highly recommend this product as the price is much much less than the price for the same battery with the microsoft name. It charges quickly & last way longer than you would think even if you are playing games every day.

I've been using these rechargeable batteries since they came out, and they are the only ones I buy. They work exactly like the OEM packs, seem to have the same life, and are appreciably cheaper. What else is there to say? It's a rechargeable battery.
