This adapter worked just as good as the official Nintendo adapter and I was able to get it on sale for 14.99. Works great with GameCube controllers.

Original one is pretty rare to see on stock and scalpers are overpricing it in the market, that's why I tried the Nyko Retro Hub and my experience has been pretty good. Build quality is great, the ports are not tight as I have read in some reviews and it works just as the original. I have not experienced lag on Smash Bros. Ultimate and it works with some many other games like Super Mario Odyssey

I bought this to use my old Game Cube controllers and it works phenomenally! Good price for a nostalgic feel.

I was able to plug up my old Gamecube controllers and start playing right away. Excellent product for the price!

So, my only curiosity was to see if the Z button [R1] would allow me to switch between items (while playing Mario Kart Deluxe 8) like it would on Double Dash. Unfortunately, it does not. While playing on the Switch, the remote has 2 drift buttons [R2 AND L2]. While playing with GC remote, it will have 2 acceleration buttons [A and Y]. The Z button all it does is jump. However, i find it way easier to look behind me using the GC remote vs the Switch remote.

Pretty good, I only use it to play smash with my friends so it does the job.

I went into buying this blindly not knowing that this product supports more than just Smash Bros, but the entire full menu and games as well. The only downfall about using an Original Gamecube controller is that you can't access the main menu unless you have a switch controller nearby so be mindful of that. But I love that I can play my classic games with my GameCube Controller.

I recently got into playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and decided to purchase a wired Gamecube Controller. The only issue was that I needed an adapter. Since I did not want to pay an extreme amount for the official Nintendo one, I decided to purchase this instead. It works fine and hasn't caused any lag or issues. Highly recommend!

I bought this hub to plug in original Gamecube controllers to my Nintendo Switch. Overall, I've been very happy with my purchase. As an added bonus, I even got them to work with a Wii U and a PC. The one thing that could have been better is having to use 2 usb ports, but other than that you get a good hub for the price.

It does what it's supposed to do. The GameCube controller does not work well for every switch game, it just doesn't have enough inputs to do everything the joycons or pro controller will do. But I bought this specifically to play smash brothers with, and it does the job perfectly.

I love this adapter! Sometimes I join in on Mario Kart with my husband and son, but I’m not really good with controllers from newer consoles. This adapter allows me to play Mario Kart from the nintendo switch, but with nintendo gamecube controllers.
