This album is a great disappointment.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The concept of an album with men leading worship is an awesome one, but this album has come woefully short. Stephen Hurd has never tried to portray himself as a masterful vocalist, but has in times past sung and worshipped with sincerity (in Spirit and truth). This album is lacking those intangibles. The only tracks that are close to decent are the guest vocalist tracks. The vocals are very weak, the “spirit” seems forced/manufactured. To summarize what I was thinking as I listened to the CD, the vocals were subpar and the songs just seemed empty. If you are anticipating the historical presence, praise and worship of prior albums, do not purchase this one, you will be disappointed.
