This game has done 90% of everything right. It’s got an in depth plot that draws you in immediately, octopath is always adding new mechanics, this time you get to rebuild your own town, there is a large cast but it’s not bloated cast by any means. What bothers me is that the company like Square went with cheap game key card cartridges instead of putting the full game on a more expensive chip. My second gripe was that thr visuals were not enhanced or updated in any way. I love the hd 2D artstyle but some things could be done better. I remember my super nintendo and sega saturn could make Non-Choppy looking polygon characters, so why cant square at least make the lines that make up the characters solid. Smh. The last gripe is there is no NIGHT / DAY Cycle. That was part of ehat made Octopath Traveler 2 my favorite game. The ability to change from day to night at will and interact eith different characters based kn what time it was. All in all this game is still worth buying and playing. I do love it, even the stuff i complained about i love. =^,..,^=

This game stole me away from Metroid prime 4 over its release weekend. The town building is addicting and each quest and character is interesting and fully voice acted for the most part.

I'm blown away by how much effort went into making this work, especially after playing the mobile game it was based on But don't let it's origins fool you, this is a full fledged entry into the series and the 8 person party works way better than multi classing from the earlier games! Good story! Good gameplay! Lots of emotional moment! If you ever liked a hd2d game this is one of the best!!

A great entry into the series that tells the story of the prequel without any of the mobile gacha elements. It's not a port it's compeltely reworked with new mechanics and exclusive side quests

The game mechanics and graphics are great, but the story chapters dont scale up, and i can potentially beat the game way too easy.

I love Octopath. It’s one of my favorite games, I love the pace of it and storylines. The graphics and musics, everything about it will always make me continue to buy this game. I hope they continue to make more octopath games.

Great game! Many side quest and high amount of content. have a ton of fun with it! The departure from the traditional 8 protagonists did have me a bit worried and I did feel like they did not spend as much effort into fleshing out each character but the variety of unique characters is a huge plus and you can make some really fun teams.

The game is great. Not quite on the level of OT2 for me but I'm enjoying the environments and of course, the music. Most of it is from the previous games but the original Wishvale music is nice too. Preorder experience from Best Buy was terrible and I won't recommend it. Preordered on 11/30 so I could get the bonus goods, never got a code when I picked up my order, and was told by a chat agent that they ran out of codes on 11/11. So why was the image of the bonus items on the page for all this time?

Octopath Traveler 0 continues to add more to what already made the first two entries great. Good storytelling, characters, and combat.

Awesome game. Loved the first two Octopath games and this one really exceeded expectations. If you love a good JRPG, this is a must.

I put in 100hrs to beat this game. This is now one of my favorite games of all time. It's one of the years beat. A gripping engaging story with beautiful 2d animation. I don’t think this game is getting the attention it deserves. If you are a jrpg fan then Octopath Traveler 0 is a must buy
