SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE! I fell off the first one after about 20 hours. This took me 90 and I JUST hit all the end game stuff which is not just extra but story related. Characters are fun, the OST is amazing, and the battle system is top notch. On my list for game of the year 2023.

This is probably the best game on Nintendo switch in terms of character story. Some of the stories will be better than others no doubt. If you liked part one, part two is more of the same with improvements. I highly recommend this game.

Everything you loved from the first game newer, bigger and even dare I say a little better. Pixel art to set the bar, music to last a lifetime, and classic but modern, saris turn based RPG gameplay that rewards and delights in equal measure as you explore this fantastical world with a new troupe of characters

Incredible game. It improves upon the first game in many different ways. Without saying any direct spoilers, they add new stuff to the fighting, and the stories connect better, so it’s not just 8 random people traveling together necessarily, but an overarching complete story between all 8 stories.

Amazing game - think I enjoyed this more than the first game. The story lines are more intertwined and love the easter eggs that connect this to the first game. The music continues to impress too! Hope you all finish the game to the very end!

A return to form for turned base RPG. Great Story and Great Gameplay. The 2D HD is an Amazing style that brings the old style into the Modern Era. Definite recommend for Final Fantasy Fans and JRPG Fans overall.

One of the only video games my wife will play on her own. She never grew up playing video games (maybe Lion King on Sega Genesis lol). She absolutely loves this series. The graphics are really cool. The fight scenes and music are epic as well.

Having already enjoyed the first game, flaws and all, I was impressed how the second one not only exceeded expectations, but has become one of my favorite RPGs of all time.

Ive been itching for a good turn based RPG and i found it in this game. The art direction is gorgeous and the music is so beautiful i could listen to it all day. The gameplay is lots of fun and each character has a really good story.

The sequel to Square Enix's Octopath Traveler improves upon the original game. Beautiful 2.5D graphics and strong character/storylines make for an enjoyable play. It's more of the same but improves on the original in every way. Highly recommended

I definitely like the art style of the game as it looking amazing. The gameplay is very simple and easy to get into. I like how the stories for the stories for different characters are and its fantastic. I recommend this game

Fantastic 2D-HD visuals and an excellent soundtrack, plus the classic gameplay from the original tweaked with some QoL improvements. Overall an excellent JRPG addition for the Switch.

This game is marvelous. GREAT storytelling. The playing style is nostalgic to the first turn based RPGs. Overall a MUST PLAY for any player that likes Square Enix games and loves Classic RPGs.

One of the most solid rpgs to come out in 2023. Improved on the story issues of the first one and refined the graphics and mechanics that were great in the first.

I played the first game years ago when it came out. You don't need to play it to play this game and honestly there's no reason to now that this is here. You can really tell that the studio took the criticism from the first game to heart and ran with it. It's more stunning than ever, the battles are just as thrilling and even expanded on, and the cast of characters are even better than the previous. I convinced another friend of mine to buy this game without having played the first and he's still throughly enjoying it.

Highly recommend Octopath traveler 1 and 2 great oldschool rpg feels with modern twists. Very open world, 8 great character stories, great loot and battle system.

Great game with lots of bang for your buck, all the characters are fleshed out and combat is never boring. Love that day and night change at a click of a button. Definitely try you won’t regret it.

Awesome game. So many different paths. You can pick any character and solve their story. Or just solve your party stories and end the game. That’s what i did because Tears of the Kingdoms came out :)

fun game worth the purchase Absolutely love Octopath Traveler II. One of the best modern JRPGs of all time. This game is a love letter to fans of the classic JRPG genre. Octopath Traveler I is a masterpiece and Square Enix greatly improved upon it in the sequel.
