One of the greatest modern day turn-based RPGs. Offers pretty good value with many hours of gameplay and gorgeous visuals. If you like the original then you will definitely like the sequel and if you've never played the first one you can jump into this just fine. It stands on its own.

The game is flawless, I only wish Square Enix would release Octopath Traveler 1 for PS5 also I never got to play that one. But get the game it's amazing and cant wait until Final Fantasy 16 releases

The stories are enough to get you into the game. The gameplay and the ramp up capability allows you to play as you want. If you are adventurous enough to go from a level five area to a level 16 right away, you have that option. The possibilities the chance to intermingle the stories that you want is just fantastic. I played the first Octopath Traveler on the switch. This time on playing it on PS five. I will say that the pixelation is different PS five. I actually prefer the smaller screen for graphics like this. However, do not let that distract from the story; it is actually super.

The game itself is nothing short of amazing. It boasts an amazing combat system that's fast and satisfying. Each of the stories are pretty good, barring a misstep or two. I highly recommend it.

Such a solid improvement over the original Switch title which I found to be one of the best games out there. Improved graphics, animations, menus. New crossover paths with deeper interactions with the characters. New power features and so much more. Play this game.

This game though. I’m only maybe half way through and each story(even the weaker ones) have me invested. It is most likely my favorite JRPG of all time. If you like JRPGs, do yourself a favor and buy this game!

If you are a fan of old school final fantasy and turned based RPGs then you will ove this game. And if you played the first one you will love this one as well. You don't have to play the first one to play this one either.
Just an amazing, deep, old-school RPG. Get ready to spend hours on this one, haha.

Great game. A reminder of the RPG games I grew up to love. I wouldnt play many of this old school version, but if was what I expected when I bought it, so I have no complaints.

I'm a huge fan of jrpg style games, this doesnt disappoint. Classic grinding levels to beat tougher opponents, with ways to make the grinding more beneficial and advantageous

While the game is more or less the same it includes all the travelers interacting more with a new feature called Cross Paths, still quite the grindfes but its still a good game.

A step above Octopath Traveler 1. I've already clocked in around 37 hours and barely scratched the surface of this massive game.
