I was a bit hesitant to spend the $$ in buying this VR headset. Still am a bit. But my hesitation only hems on the amount of extra $$ I have to spend on purchasing apps to use with it. The quality of the videos are amazing! Very crisp; very clear. I just wish there were cheaper apps to purchase. Perhaps as the technology advances and becomes more prevalent, there will be. For now, I can continue the view the space movies for hours.

I am loving my Oculus Go. I've been a Gear VR user for a couple years and I find the Oculus Go to be so much more freeing. I don't have to keep setting everything up with my cell phone anymore. And I can use my cell phone at the same time. Now, I just put on the Oculus Go, and it's immediately ready to go. And the Go is a lot more comfortable then Gear.

I honestly really like the Go. It's simple, lightweight, and really stands out as a 3D movie viewer. However, the battery life is simply terrible. You're lucky if you can watch an entire 90 minute film in VR. It's fun for quick dips in and out of VR but not for sustained activity. It's really sad cause if the battery life was like 5-6 hours on this thing, it would be well worth the price.

My unit has a little defect in the view but doesnt impact quality. You miss out on a lot of the apps for the higher end Oculus devices but I’m not trying to spend that much time inside anyway. Great for movies and experiences though, feel like you’re flying! Free apps offer a lot and return policy allows you to try and refund stuff if you dont use it for more than a half hour. Very cool

This is a good VR set for the price and for a starter. My son LOVES it, but if you plan on using this item for an extended period of time you need to have a fan next to you or it will overheat. It's not dangerous at all, just annoying as it will shut down in the middle of your game.

If you want the full VR experience then go with the Rift. The Go is great for starters and easily allows you to become quickly emersed into the VR world. This headset is more geared towards video entertainment (360 YouTube, Hulu and other apps.) Gaming is minimal but the options are there for the light gamers. I would give it 5 stars for entertainment if I didn’t have the Rift already.

Family enjoyed it but it does turn on and use the battery life with nobody even using it so I would charge it to 100% go to use it the next day and it’ll be no longer at 100% there is a sensor in there that if it gets bumped or moved it will turn on which causes the battery life to get drained.

This is our first venture into a VR headset. Some of the videos we've seen have been fascinating in terms of what you can view. We've been a bit surprised - not in a good way - at the quality of videos. The video quality is far less than what you get on a phone, tablet, tv, or computer. The fit and placement of the headset play a lot into optimizing the quality. Even over just a few minutes, you can lose video quality because the headset slips. We have found that the unit overheats before the battery wear down. It has been a bit of a challenge to share this headset between two people - one male who wears glasses and one female who doesn't - since there is a special insert for glasses-wearers and you have to make other adjustments to get the video quality just right. We'll give it time, keep learning, and hope the experience improves. At this point, I wouldn't recommend it to a friend because I wouldn't know how to answer the questions sure to come up.

Lots of fun and endless things to do on it! Bought it for my girlfriend for christmas, she kept talking about how cool it looks. And she enjoyed every second of it. Games are fun, lots of free ones, the quality is extremely good as well. Fits pretty comfortable on your head for the most part, after a few hours it does start to get uncomfortable. I don't recommend using it longer than 1 hour to avoid that issue.

This is a completely stand-alone system. This Oculus has no overheating issues whatsoever. So that's a major plus. No need for a computer or phone. Not the best Resolution but it will do. Pretty good games to download not bad good watching 360 degree and videos and browsing in large screen. Great for traveling. Keeps the kids entertain. not worth $200.00.. got mine on sale.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my son. He wanted one after being introduced to it from my aunt. Hopefully he'll get back interested in it when he gets older. It's functional enough for a 5 year old and easy to use. The side piece comes off easy though. The remote malfunctions often as well.

After much shopping around decided on the Oculus Go. Truly did not know what to expect as I’ve never had a demo, etc., however, The Go far exceeded my expectations. Graphics are great! A few of the apps aren’t worth any money spent but overall my experience had been awesome. At $199 the price was perfect. Can’t wait to upgrade to the Rift!
