My wife and I had become believers in vr after a demo with the HTC Vive at a windows store. However, when we wanted to buy one, no one had them in stock. So we decided to go with the rift. I can’t say I regret it at all. The rift provides amazing vr experiences, with great tracking and capabilities. The controllers are much nicer than the vive’s as well. The only thing I would recommend is getting a third sensor... it makes some games much better.

I got the Oculus - Rift + Touch Virtual Reality Headset Bundle on Thanksgiving sale and recently set it up. I am currently enjoying the experience. Thinking about which VR games I should purchase next.

I bought this VR a day after Black Friday and I amaze by the way make me feel inside the games, my kids loved it and they are looking forward to play any day. I strongly recommend to buy this product.

This is the future of gaming. I cannot wait to see more great things happen with virtual reality! The Oculus is a great introduction to VR gaming and browsing. Very easy to set up. Took about 20 mins.

There is a couple of things I mention after buying the Oculus Rift. There may be a few extra things to buy to be helpful. Please check your graphics cards to make sure you have one dedicated HDMI for your VR. I have one HDMI and one DVI. With that said, I plugged my DVI to HDMI to my smart tv (LG) using a bought adapter. The other handy thing you may want is to go out and get a six ft HDMI cord along with an adapter, and a six-foot USB male to male 3.0 USB cord with an adapter for that as well. This will give you more mobility in your play area. It is too tight to manage with the original headset cords. You can go past the 6 ft., but that should suffice. The experience is worth it. I am hoping that keep adding more software to Oculus and Steam. Steam games work for your Oculus. If you use something like Big Screen, you can play non VR in your personal theater atmosphere. That is an option. Great experience.

Initially I was like what’s all the fuss about with VR, that was before I tried it!! This is by far the best bang for your buck VR out there buy it!

I have played on the HTC Vive (not the pro) and the Oculus and I have to say that since the oculus includes 360 degree headphones AND is $100 cheaper, that already makes it a $200 smarter investment. The quality is the same between headsets, but the controllers are much more sensible on the Rift. The Rift requires and HDMI port on your graphics card where the Vice requires an empty Display Port, so check your GPU before purchase.

This product is awesome. I played a demo a few times before deciding to purchase. Worth every penny. I have bought a few of the games that don't come with it already, and am having a blast.

Setup was very easy and instructive. Touch controllers feel great in your hands and are a joy to use. Plan on buying a 3rd sensor however because you will eventually want to go room scale!

I highly recommend getting a rift the whole family loves it I went in to the store just to look around then tried it then bought it and a Alienware tower because I liked it so much

This headset is absolutely an amazing experience. The headset is top quality and the controllers are perfect. Love this and definitely recommend this to someone with the right pc.

Always wanted VR when I first played it back in the early 90's in some mall exhibit. It's amazing what it does and what it can do.

Where to start this VR headset is awesome, the setup is easy to do I think easier than playstation vr. Room is needed or else you will be bumping into things or hitting walls while you are playing. the screen is good but not crystal clear. The controllers are awesome and I think VR has potential its still evolving. The headset feels light and keeps the light out. All in all great product for a great price.

CONS Requires four USB ports (three 3.0, one 2.0) to fully function. BOTTOM LINE The Oculus Rift is a powerful, PC-tethered VR headset that's even more appealing now thanks a lower price and the inclusion of Oculus Touch motion controllers.

I’ve tried multiple cr headsets and this one is by far the best. It lives up and sets out what it intends to do. For the $400 price point you can’t beat it especially if you already have a gaming computer with the minimum requirements. I purchased a third sensor for a even better tracking experience and it works amazing! What are you waiting for go get yours today and now there is a marvel bundle available.

One of the coolest things I've ever owned. I like the reaction I get when I tell someone about VR and then they actually try it. People think it's just gonna be like watching a video from a first person perspective and are always pretty shocked to feel like they are actually in the room. The only drawback to this is that you have to have a pretty good computer to get the most out of it, so while the VR headset itself is pretty cheap, you're gonna want to spend at least 600-800 on a PC good enough to make the experience worth it. The games it comes with are pretty good. There is an old-west theme first person shooter that I've spent HOURS on already. My son really enjoys a game called "Quill" it's a 3D art game, it's kind of like living inside Microsoft Paint, and being able to draw and create around you in 3D. If you are a fan of the game Minecraft, or this is a gift for someone who enjoys the game, there is a 3D VR full version of the game that is pretty amazing. Also.... GOOGLE EARTH VR!!!! Free, and one of the most amazing VR experiences yet. Imagine you are 1000 feet tall, and can fly around the globe in a matter of seconds to visit anywhere you've ever wanted to go, with most of the world being in 3D (New York City, Tokyo, etc) I would highly recommend buying this, especially at it's current price point and it still being at the cutting edge of VR technology.

The oculus is so amazing! Takes gaming to a whole new level but there's so much more with it for people who don't play games.

Totally immersive and a great experience so far. Setup took about 30 min start to finish. Beat saber is a must have title on Oculus Rift. Now you can play video games and actually exercise. So many things to do with Oculus , like watch a movie in a virtual theater in VR. No room for a large flat panel TV? No prob..watch in VR. I haven't been this pumped for a gaming device in a long time.

Vr is amazing. The oculus rift does vr very well for sit down and standing games. For room scale it would be better with an additional sensor you must buy and longer cables. Playing beat saber is fantastic and so much fun. I've had several people try it at a party and was blown away and had a great time swinging light sabers to music on beat saber. If you have any doubt if vr is worth getting, you should find a store that demos vr and be ready to take it home after you experience it.

Easy to set up. Walked thru instructions. Once entering the virtual world everything else isn't the same. I use mine for a racing simulator and after using single and triple monitors I'll never go back to a monitor again.
