I loved Odin Sphere on PS2 but it was plagued with frame rate issues. Because of that I couldn't even get past the 2nd character (there's five) - the technical issues were just too annoying. Now... This remaster for Vita and PS4 is simply a MASTERPIECE. Revamped HD graphics, new gameplay / combat mechanics, no technical issues.. You've got play this now!!!! Both versions run excellent, super smooth, despite several enemies and visual effects on screen. I also think this game is simply perfect for Vita. I'm clocking more than 30 hours Already on the go! It should take another 20 to be completed. If you love 2-D scrolling games, RPGs, action games, beautiful games, you should get this. There is a demo on PS Store for both consoles so you can try all the characters.

An awesome action game, especially for a portable. Each character has unique skills, abilities, and properties (one can freeze enemies, another burns them, another has lightning attacks, one has a super mode, the other can fly around and shoot from distances). Skills can also be set to whatever button combination is most comfortable for the player, letting you perform slick, long, devastating combos. Just note that you have to use each character in order, starting from Gwendolyn and ending with Velvet, in the same order as in the demo. If you've ever played action games before, particularly Muramasa, I'd also suggest playing on Hard mode--it's challenging, but not impossible.

Ine of the most beautiful games I've ever played. Great action, deep leveling system and mechanics. A must buy.

The original ps2 version had a few flaws, such as battles breaking the pacing with an annoying stamina meter. There was also a lot of slowdown in some areas. This game fixes all that, by making combat smoother, and more action oriented. There is no more slowdown, and they even added things like skill trees and a bit more lore to collect. If you want to try the old ps2 version, that is included as well, so you can see how much has changed.

Great to see the Vita is still getting excellent games like this. If you're a Dragon's Crown fan I think you will love this.

The graphical artwork is stunning, the game is fun and is a must have for the Vita if you are a fan of Dragon Crown!!!

Amazing game from start to finish. Completely remade and is a joy to play. Only problem was on the vita it looks so small and some text was hard to read. Played just fine and loved it. Also can play on the ps tv.

I haven't finished the game, but this game has a lot of style. The developer Vanillaware, does 2-D action great, probably better than anyone out there today. Having this on my PS Vita is a perfect addition to my collection.

The game still looks beautiful and even better now. I haven't played too much into it, but I know I will soon. Great game for those who have played it on PS2 or just wants something unique.
