I'm not familiar with the source material nor the previous adaptations, but I enjoyed this movie. You get acting legends (and Sherilyn Fenn at her most beautiful) given much to do. And some great rural photography. As for bonus features, it's got the essentials. Interviews, commentaries, deleted scenes. B+

this is a very good movie. its practicly word for word from the movie. itsa great movie. you would really like it if you like old fasion movies. its somthing good if your trying to define a friend. and why even the most oppisite people can make it work. it shows you that you should respect others and that every one diservs a fair chance. and how a big huge problem can be coused by a big mistake. and it really makes you think. its 14 bucks what can you loose!!!!!

This is a pretty good movie. The movie does leave out a few minor moments from the book but they don't have a negative impact on the movie. The movie has a different ending than the book. The ending to the movie is better and it seems more realistic that George would be upset about having to shoot Lennie rather than the book where he almost didn't care and went off to have a drink. Great movie for anyone who liked the book and if you didn't like the book this is still a movie worth checking out because it may be better than the book.

This early 1990's remake based on the John Steinbeck novel, is almost as good as the original 1939 version. Highly recommended, especially to fans of the book.
