This movie doesn't seem to get a lot of love & I don't really understand why. Yeah, the comedy is broad and the premise is not all that original- but the cast is very appealing and there are some genuinely funny bits sprinkled throughout. The blu-ray is a clean, if unspectacular, release; colors are true and sharp, and snow & night scenes are crisp. Audio is fine- as this is a (mostly) dialogue-driven movie the mix is standard & serves its purpose. Extras are just fine; including the usual things like deleted scenes; a gag reel; a (too short) "Making Of" as well as a DVD and UltravIolet copies of the film.

Funny movie love story glad it when the way it did

One of the funniest movies I came across last year

Definitely fell into the B-Movie listings for us. There were a few laughs, but most fell flat. It really felt like they tried TOO HARD to be funny.

When an overbearing CEO (Jennifer Aniston) decides to close her hard-partying brother's failing branch, he (T.J. Miller) and his fired up co-workers (Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn, Kate McKinnon) decide to throw an epic office party to land a big shot client and save everyone's jobs. Fueled by booze and bad decisions, things quickly spiral out-of-control in one of the craziest nights of their lives.

I bought it for the price. One of those movies that you don't need to use much brain power to just waste time when you have nothing else to do.

Great if looking for nothing but laughter, just be warned that there is some irreverent humor for those that like to be offended by everything.

I just recently watched this and was pretty surprised with the humor in it. I would describe it as stupid slapstick humor (in a good way) because the characters are just doing stupid things on purpose for the sake of a laugh... and I thought most were funny. If you watch a preview you will see a little bit of what I mean. I don't want to spoil anything but Jennifer Aniston is a royal bee but her character is an enjoyable one!

I knew nothing about this movie, but sometimes that makes for a pleasant surprise. Office Christmas Party is hilarious and offers plenty of replay value, something I look for in comedies especially. The cast is perfect and everyone offers their fair share of perfectly delivered lines and comical timing. The movie also has a great energy to it. A healthy enough collection of bonus features will provide even more laughs for those craving a little encore after watching the main feature. Enjoy!

This movie is okay to watch when you don't have anything else better to do on a rainy day.

OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY is way over the top, great laughs, and it is without any doubt the biggest, most destructive Xmas office party ever filmed. Had it been for real, there would have been huge lawsuits and imprisonments. In any case, it's funny stuff, and tons of fun. After all, it's another Christmas film, but not for the kiddies.

Cliche gags...sure. Forced sentimentality...to be expected. Raunch...this is the unrated version, duh. I know all the complaints about films like this...so what. You've got a whole bunch of actual funny actors going to town on this story with enough quirky characters to keep it fun. Just go to the party, stop thinking so hard, it's okay to have fun and let loose.

This newest version of a Bad Santa type film is actually quite fun. Much better than Bad Santa 2, which was just awful. But this is the office work version. Over the top humor that packs a holiday punch. Not for the little kiddies but at least something new and different for the adults to watch. Rather than the same 'ol, same 'ol every year.

This is a crazy Christmas movie that uses the holiday as an excuse to party their brains out in the office. It is a break from the sappy holiday movies that is in line with the Hangover movies or Christmas vacation. Jason Bateman and Jennifer Anniston star in this goofy film.

bought them when they were on sale, like half price, but they don't last very long

I love the scene with "Jesus" on the horse riding through lmao, that's it that's the review lol, but no its a good modern Christmas movie, doesn't take itself too serious and it isn't an obvious in your face Christmas movie, I wish it was called office party instead so then ppl would really appreciate this movie as a Christmas movie

It is not my typical Christmas movie that I will watch yearly. But it was ok.

Honestly hilarious, even tho not sure how this would play out nowadays in real life with all the harassment stuff....but if you can suspend belief for a moment and see that people are acting like adults, then yeah totally believable and funny comedy....nice not having to be serious every 5 seconds it seems nowadays

I rented this shortly after it first released on DVD and was a big fan. I ended up picking it up on black Friday last year, and have made sure to watch it on Christmas that year (2017) and this year. Hilarious. I really like TJ Miller and Jason Bateman. I'd recommend to anyone that's a fan of This Is the End, Step Brothers, or really any flamboyant comedy.

Fun but nothing special! Who doesn't love an office party?
