Office space is a great comedy about work, how screwed up bosses can be, and the moronic decisions made by upper management. Sure it takes place in an office setting, but the sentiment can be felt be any worker at any job. As for the Blu-ray edition, it looks quite good for an older movie. Sharp, clean, and that's the most you can ask for in a low action comedy like this. There's a cool interview with creator/writer Mike Judge as a bonus. Mmmmm, yeeeeaaah, If you like the movie, you can't do any wrong buying this version M'kay.

I personally love anything Mike Judge makes. Extract, Idiocracy, Beavis & Bu++head, etc. This movie is a classic with some of the most iconic scenes of any comedy to date. If you've ever hated a job or a boss, you can probably relate to the plot. Everyone should have this movie in their collection and the Blu-Ray looks very good for a comedy from the 90s.

When You Work in an Office...

When you work in an office this film speaks on so many levels. This situation is similar to Dilbert. I read Dilbert before I got my office job and it was okay funny but after it was hilarious. To be fair I didn't see Office Space before I worked in an office but the principle is the same. Overbearing bosses, unrealistic expectations, silly "culture" activities are just some of the things that this film nails on the head. Oh, and the classic printer scene really takes the cake.

And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told -- I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then -- then I'm -- I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And -- and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire...

Who doesn't love one of the best off beat cult classic comedies of the late 90s? This is one of those movies I can watch over & over again and still laugh every time. So many memorable scenes and quotable lines makes this a definite pick up for your collection. If you don't already own the previous Blu-ray, I highly recommend getting this 20th Anniversary edition.

This movie didn't get a lot of traction when it first came out, but it is now quoted a lot. Plus, almost everyone has heard a reference to the "TPS reports" from the film. It has gotten more popular because it was a pretty spot on satire of many corporate office cultures: the meaningless reports, the efficiency "experts", clueless supervisors, etc. Writer/Director Mike Judge was still best known for creating Beavis & Butt-head and King of the Hill at this point in his career. This was the start of a sharper style for him that ultimately led to the hilarious Silicon Valley series.

I first saw this movie about 8 years ago when i hanging out with my old high school buddies. It was so hilarious i fell off my seat twice. The blue ray version has a much better picture and sound quality than the DVD version (which i own. ) It also comes included with some extra features that weren't included on the dvd, so for 7.99 id say this is worth a buy. It's a good movie, it holds up after watching it several times, so i highly recommend it.

Office Space is one of the funniest movies ever created. As the movie goes on, you will find yourself finding people in your own work life that resemble the characters in the movie. You'll go.....Oh yeah......that's exactly how John from work acts! They've taken the everyday mundane nature of office life, exposed it for its insanely funny aspects, and added a background plot to put the characters in position to entertain. Thumbs up. It is a go to year after year.

Not only will this film play as an enjoyable comedy, but the more similarities you begin to see between the main character's career and your own will cause you to question how happy you are with your job. Not taking itself too seriously while still addressing the terror of settling and the lure of getting back at those running the mind-numbing system. Just a funny, genuine comedy that is worth the watch.

This movie is a must have for MIke Judge fans, creator of Beavis and B***head, King of the Hill, Silicon Valley et al. I own Office Space in DVD format and I had to own it for Blu Ray as well, and you can definitely see the difference in quality and picture. The overall movie is great and has many funny elements to it. It is one of my personal "see anytime, anyday" type of movies.

Whenever I need a laugh about the daily grind at work, I watch this movie. It's a classic and a great example at the inner working of Mike Judge's mind. Several stars are it like Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston, and Gary Cole. I've seen it at least 20 times since it originally came out. I recommend this movie for anyone who is a Mike Judge fan and hasn't seen it yet.

Someone recommend this after hearing about my office situation. It was good and some of the scenarios were a little too close for comfort, even 20 years after this movie was produced.

I had the film on DVD and thought I would just stick with it, but the DVD I had was not anamorphic, so it didn't fill the screen on my 16:9 HDTV. I found this Blu-ray on sale in the bargain bin at Best Buy very cheap and had to buy it. If Office Space is one of your favorite comedies, definitely check the bargain bin at your local Best Buy and pick this one up!

I know that this is a cult classic, it has it moments but it wasn't that funny to me. The death of the copy/fax machine is hilarious though. I still would recommend it though.

This movie still makes me laugh the same way it did the first time I saw it. One of the marks of a great movie is the quotable lines from it, and this movie is loaded with them. With hilarious characters and witty dialog, this movie is a must for fans of great comedy. The blu-ray has a number of special features, which along with the price, make this a must buy.
