This is 1 of those movies you don't forget after watching it. The start is slow but kicks into gear and the ending will blow your mind. Must see movie.

Very good movie, anyone who liked the original will love this one. Its very graphic so if that is your kind of movie, I highly recommend this one.

A slick remake that feels a little too slight by the end. Rumours of a three hour cut I have held out hope for for years now.

This is a move that can show if you though you were cool in high school and did not care who you hurt it can come back on you in later life.

Disappointing remake of a superior foreign original, but came out better than it would've in the hands of a lesser director. There are some very thrilling moments and some subtle nods to the original, with at least once where these were one and the same (i.e. the long-take in the warehouse). Some minor changes were made to the plot that seemed to be more out of shock value than anything, but not the worst remake I've ever seen.

"Oldboy" is a gripping classic movie noir, that I wanted to add to my video collection. Unable to find it and so I ordered from Best Buy. Bingo -- they delivered it promptly and the disk was highest quality and their pricing was competitive as always. A very good source and video for movie buffs like me...

I really liked this movie but you really have to pay attention to follow it. Interesting concept and great performance by Josh Brolin

Strange Plot but Interesting and keeps you o. Your feet.

I enjoyed this retelling of the original. It did have some brutal parts but didn't over shadow the story.

The film is great, with an ending better than the original, but overran not as good

Having not seen the original I didn't have any expectations good or bad going in so I didn't read any of the other reviews. I really enjoyed this movie and thought the acting from all the actors were really good and believable. I have watched this movie several times since I bought it and would highly recommend it.

Very good action movie and very good sound effects for surround home theater.
