The Olympus WS Series digital voice recorder conveniently connects to a VEC TRX-20 3.5MM Direct Connect Telephone Record Device and a vtech desk phone with a corded handset to record interviews for my research study. The built-in USB connects up to my laptop to recharge batteries, and to upload the recording for transcription.

It works great I enjoyed taping our thanksgiving get together.!!!

Used this recorder in a 2-1/2 day class & it was great. Picked up minimal back ground noise & the battery lasted thru the whole 8 hr class. Great buy

I purchased this recorder to record conversations that would give me documentation for further use. The microphone is quite sensitive and will pick up most conversations within 10 feet. It is light and the charge is maintained for quite some time.

I use a recorder at work for several interviews. If you opt to get the 32 gig card, you'll get over a thousand hours of audio. I can store all of it right on the recorder. Very clear when interviewing in a room, the dual mics make things really sensitive. So, you will pic up on every cough and breath, but if you put it away about four feet, it seems to pick up nicely.

This recorder is light, easy to use and absolutely what I need to transcribe my latest writing project.

I purchased an Olympus recorder over 12 years ago and just had to replace it. Held up and the quality of the product was exemplary. Tried another brand of recorder but was too complicated to operate and went back to the Olympus brand and could not be happier, especially with the capability of connecting directly to my computer with another cord.

Only issue is on playback volume, even when playing back on high volume sounds low. Although what can be heard, sounds pretty clear. Maybe if i import files into my computer to see if the volume of the recording will increase. But Pleased with the recording hours.

This was purchased for my daughter to use for her singing lessons. Easy to use. Works great/

I was not sure I would even find a voice recorder with all the apps and options for smart phones these days. The Olympus does a great job is easy to use and uses mp3 recording so it is usable across all my other devices once downloaded. Great for times when pulling out my phone is just not an option.

I am glad I made this purchase, I initially used the recorder in my anatomy course, then I started using it in all my courses! Has many functionalities, and I like that you can plug in your earphones, also it has an external memory slot, overall it is easy to use and records pretty good!

So happy with this compact voice recorder! I am a student of reflexology and need to record notes during treatment sessions. This product is so easy to use, and the charge lasts a long time! Highly recommended!

I needed a pocket recorder and searched for the best. Price, simple to use, silent, functions all straight forward. I have used different recorders and this was by far the best bang for the buck.

Love the size and easy to use. Pics up voices very well. Description on box was very confusing. It does not come with the charging adapter.

Really am impressed with this recorder. In an age when we commonly use our phones as recorder, this is one to definitely buy. 1) Love the noise damper/audio controls. When I heard applause, the recorder dampers the noise so my ears aren't bleeding upon playback. 2) Super long battery life (recorded a weekend function on the provided rechargeable battery.) it was 20 hours and I still have PLENTY of battery life left.
