Excellent lens for the price. Use it for birding and it allows me to hone in on specific details of the birds. Not too heavy for my camera. Operates smoothly when zooming. Works well in the shadows amongst the trees while birding. Quiet to use. An great lens to have in my kit. Definitely recommend.

An excellent lens with great reach for the new Olympus Micro Four Thirds system cameras. This micro four thirds zoom lens is equal to a focal length of 150 to 600 on a traditional 35mm full frame camera. You would have to pay a lot more for that type of zoom if you were using a Canon or Nikon camera. Excellent image quality. Highly recommended.

This lens gives the user more scope for much more effective photos of nature without intruding upon it's activity, which is the reason I bought it. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the same type of distance photography with an OM camera.

Perfect complement my recently purchased OM-D E-M10 for wildlife and long shots. It is definitely a niche lens, but does its job well for its price and size.

This lens works great on my EM10 camera. Use a fast shutter speed for 300mm shots to eliminate blur. Olympus had a sale on this after I purchased it and Best Buy matched the price.

Purchased this for my OMD EM-1 camera. Haven't had a chance to test it out on a hike but have tried a couple of backyard bird photos. Very pleased so far. Takes sharp pictures in good light. Was nice that it was also on sale.

First thing to understand - this acts like a 600 mm lens, (300 mm 4/3 = 600 mm FF) - Have to use a tripod - especially if the subject is far. Once you get over the fact that you probably can't hand hold this lens, you begin the process of learning how to shoot with it. The results are nice. This lens is good on Olympus m 4/3 and pany's with internal IS - no IS on lens.
