I've have owned a handfull of mirrorless cameras, and I've used a pile of others. The Olympus OMD E-M5 Mark II is the best Mirrorless camera I've used. It takes amazing pictures and you can hand shoot some longer exposures since the in body image stabilization is absolutely incredible.
Quick Pros & Cons
Pros:
Great OIS - still and video
Weather resistant with some lenses
Lens selection and prices
High resolution shots
Cons:
Only 1080P video
Menu has a learning curve
I'll attach some sample pictures, too. I'm not a professional photographer at all. I like the micro 4/3 lens system because it lets me get really nice lenses for a small investment compared to other lens systems. It's also very compact and lightweight. I carry all my lenses (5), camera, flash, and extra battery with me wherever I go. My full frame friends have a hard time doing that.
The weather resistance on the camera makes it a great option if I go camping or go to take pictures on a day that's not 100% sunny. I don't worry. The high resolution shots allow me to take pictures like the one of the moon. My lens couldn't get that close, but I was able to zoom in on the picture and still have the details. And the image stabilization allows me to take video and pictures that I really shouldn't be able to shoot. It's almost magic. I can hand shoot a quarter of a second easy.
It's a great camera, and if you're an advanced hobby photographer, this is a dream machine!
I would recommend this to a friend

i have nothing against the manufacturer but to tell you the truth this model is kinda frustrating. firstly, important buttons and dials were poorly designed, it took half of my time dialing and pushing buttons instead of taking pictures. secondly, the model was delivered with an old firmware so by the time i went out for a test i experienced that the lens is responding incorrectly. thirdly, if the camera can't perform the way it was marketed it is my right to return it. it will take time to learn all the functions for it was placed in a tight location, if you have fat fingers this is not for you. my reasons were valid but when i return it i was treated with harsh words from the camera supervisor.
