Alternative to a Zoom Lens for Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, if you are hoping to increase the zoom capabilities of your lens, the 1.4x Teleconverter will help you with that dilemma. However, as I mentioned, this comes at a small cost, which isn't so bad. First off, this will cost you an F-Stop on your camera when you attach it to any lens. This becomes a small issue if you need something that has to be fast on the shot. And, while the cost is steep, it's advantage is that it increases your 70-300mm four-thirds lens to a 98-420mm four-thirds lens (196-840mm 35mm equiv.). Also, this unit doesn't seem to distort your pictures in comparison to others that are available.
