Watched reviews on serval juicers and if your looking for a quiet and efficient juicer I would recommend the omega because the motor dose not heat up the juice is left in a more nutrient state, no problem with carrots beets celery it's great also it comes with a 10 yr manufacture warranty can't beat that

I did a lot of research on this before I purchased this model. I have used a centrifugal juicer that was a friend's and although that was a lower-pulp juice, I find this to be a better quality juice. It took a few times to get the hang of assembly, but now it's quick and easy. I use it all the time!

I love my juicer. It does not make good juice it makes excellent juice! The ease of use is as advertised. It is so quiet I can't imagine why anyone would select a centrical force juicer over this one for the sound aspect alone. It will yield more nutrient dense liquid than any centrifugal force juicer too. You can look up comparison videos on youtube. Leafy greens in particular have an easier time with this when compared to centrifugal machines. I don't think you need a strainer as what comes out is pretty clean. Here are the flaws. 1. There is a problem with fine threads of veggies getting stuck in hard to clear crevices on feed shoot. This keeps you at the sink a tad longer. I still think this is easier to clean than other juicers and certainly easier than juicers from the 80's. 2.You also have to rotate vegetables so that machine can process, some hard root vegetables, some leafy. No nonstop stuffing and shoving of whatever with this machine. 3.You have to leverage juicing bowl and motor housing in your lap to remove bowl. Stick some napkins in in dual shoots so that remnants of juice/pulp don''t go flying. I am only on week one of ownership and this is what I am seeing. There is a video for this on youtube. According to this video, this is a problem with many vertical single auger juicers of all manufactures. 3. One last problem, in 2013 I would like to have BPA free plastic in writing. Someone over the phone at Omega says yes all plastic is BPA free but it is highly suspect if they are not willing to write this anywhere on the box or in the manual. All the flaws aside, this is still a great juicer. The technology just is not there yet. I think for the money of your produce, you want something that will squeeze every leaf and keep air infusion at a minimum. You just won't get that with a blender or centrifugal juicer. I love this juicer!
