Everything I wanted in a new laptop!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to replace a work laptop (Asus) from 8 yrs ago as it was getting slow and having other issues (like going into sleep mode when I pick it up certain ways). After a lot of research I chose this one so that I have plenty of memory and cpu speed along with a SSD. I was worried about the keyboard since I don't game that much, but it's pretty nice and responds better than I expected for a laptop (and it has a number pad). The HD screen is a much needed upgrade from the Asus as well. I had to buy an adapter for losing a VGA port, but it has HDMI and plenty others. I'll get over the lack of DVD drive. I didn't want a touch screen or a tablet-like device, so this fit my needs perfectly and the price was great too!

The display could be better but the hardware was/is great. Love the color keyboard and everything. Spilled a beer on it and it’s still chugging along with no issues.

Problems with adapter
