Outstanding specs for the price only downside to me is that it's HEAVY!!

I'm not good with knowing what want when I go laptop shopping. However, when I arrived at the store not only were was I helped immediately, but it was easy and fast to get in with an idea and get out before rush hour. lol While I was using the thing it is definitely a lot faster than what I had expected and I love the black on red combo.

All my steam games play very well good price point.

Finally after bigger break I can play World of Warcraft and this laptop is amazing

Eurek! It's an Omen - an a good one! What strikes me is when you see a parallel between the gaming side and business use! I expect the this thing to see me into 2020 and beyond!

Bought for my grandson. He says it is great. Loves the red back lighting .No complaints while gaming so I am happy on sale too. Delivered right to our door. His cousin bought the same one in the 15 inch cause he is smaller

Full-disclosure - I ended up returning this laptop, but not because I didn't like it. I just wanted a laptop that had an even better graphics card. Honestly I really like this laptop. I currently have an Asus Strix GL702VSK which has a GeForce 1070 8GB video card in it. However, I like the look, feel and overall whole package of the HP Omen better. The Omen has a great, solid feel to it - both in the materials used and the construction. The Radeon GX 580 is a powerful card - no doubt about it. I was able to enjoy GTA Online and Playerunknown Battlegrounds at ultra settings with no problem whatsoever. It never got uncomfortably hot to the touch, and the backlighting on the keyboard worked really well. My only complaint about this laptop was the inclusion of an extra column of "programmable macro keys" on the far left side of the laptop. The purpose and function of the keys themselves is a great idea. Instead of pressing a combination of keys that you use in a game or using Windows in general you just program a single key to do that thing. The issue is with the placement of the keys. If you're used to touch-typing, then you will be thrown off when you try to press the ESC or L-CTRL key. Instead of pressing those keys you'll end up pressing the macro keys which are to the left of ESC and L-CTRL. But honestly, it's not a big deal. Even though the Omen has a less powerful video card in it than the Asus laptop I have now, I honestly prefer the Omen laptop.

This has been the best computer that I have played World of Tanks on. The suggested graphic setting were set to maximum. I couldn't be happier with the way the computer has dealt with any game I have played so far.

I absolutly love my omen. Was not familiar with the brand before starting my search. Prior to this I had a HP envy. I can play war thunder and armored warfare on MAX settings. Does what I want!

This machine is exactly what I was looking for, i7 coupled with an Rx580, this machine is a powerhouse.

I picked this up from my local best buy about a year ago and it definitely is a really good gaming laptop. I've had absolutely no problems running multiple programs at once while I'm playing a popular game series in the highest graphics settings with no issues. It definitely is a very powerful and reliable machine for the money. The only problem I do have with it is what I personally feel a problem I would run into no matter what gaming laptop you decide to get your hands on, and that's the battery. Gaming laptops are known for draining your battery quick depending on what your doing that is but for example I'll be in middle of a game playing on highest graphics settings like always have no other applications running even if fully charged your lucky if that battery is going to last you an hour. But other than the constant battery issue for laptops this machine is great I still use it today not a purchase im upset with at all.

This laptop was an excellent buy. It has all the perks and is very fast right out of the box.

Its out of a lot of budgets, but buy it. This lap top does it all. From ultra setting gaming to photo editing to just writing or using office. Super fast. super fun, and the speakers are just perfect. Nothing i would change about this. For a gaming laptop this is a great choice!

It is a very good computer, works well, it looks good to. I like the lite up keyboard.
