Gorgeous monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a new monitor. I wanted something with slightly better refresh rate and higher than 1080p. I also wanted something with good size. I was back and forth with a few monitors and I just couldnt deny getting this 32" Monitor. I am very please with it. The stand is very nice and heavy duty. I ended up mounting mine on the wall. The VESA adapter that it came with works very well. For the price of a 32" Monitor with 75hz refresh rate at 1440p its hard to find many better than this. I use it for gaming and it looks great.

Love this monitor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect size, high quality monitor. Just what I was looking for. I was a little afraid I wouldn't like the power button being on the back, but have no fear, it is actually quite easy to reach around and feel it. No problem at all. Great monitor! Nice and bright and vivid. Makes youtube videos look so much nicer.

5 Star Monitor with 0 Star Experience for Mac
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a tale of two monitors, one that works great and the other NOT, both hosed in the same enclosure. Can't speak for WINTEL PC owners, but Apple MAC OWNERS BEWARE! The 75 Hz refresh rate is NOT necessarily comparable with at least the Display Port on my MacMini4,1 running High Sierra 10.13.4. Plugged it all up with Display Port and at first came up beautifully in 2560x1440 resolution. Opened Display preferences and went to change the Refresh Rate to 75 Hz (which is why I bought this model vs the slightly cheaper 60 Hz only model). Immediately after setting it to 75 Hz, the screen went black! Long story short, no amount of rebooting, Parameter RAM or SMC resetting would bring it back. AND it also killed my Apple Thunderbolt display from working with my Mac Mini (the display was unharmed though as proved by connecting to my Air). After poking around the web, I came to believe that the monitor settings were stored on the hard drive, and that the Mac Mini was pulling the 75 Hz up as default (during boot, it would show the Apple so the hardware was appearing OK). I eventually used Xcode to edit the com.apple.windowserver file in the Preferences Library. Look for the item# that has 75 Hz (its actually 74.88...) under "Unmirrored..." and change that to the value of the other item that has 2560x1440 resolution (about 60 Hz), and also copy and paste the "RefreshRate16.16 parameter between the two items. This appears to have made the 75 Hz setting actually be 60 Hz, and then I could get the Display back so I could set it to 60 Hz in Display preference panel (actually 59.88 Hz). If you are not so technically inclined (and I'm not a developer, so I'm not really sure I did it right, but the above worked) then you should be able to achieve the same result by reinstalling the system. Bottom line is that monitor is gorgeous, and appears to work like a champ in 2560x1440 resolution, but don't ever set it off 60 Hz in Display Preferences or you may be sorry (note, this problem might not affect other Macs, but it certainly did on mine).
