    Model Confusion; Weak Customer Support

What Omron did with its product model identification for its blood pressure monitor is unusual. When the features of the Model BP652 or 652N were reduced, instead of choosing a new model number, it kept the same ones. So, one is never quite sure what one is getting. The model number on the BestBuy site says BP652N but the picture of the blood pressure monitor says BP652? So which is it? Previously the models provided support for two users and 200 stored readings. In calling Omron for clarification, I was placed on hold for 45 minutes. The monitor I received has the features listed on the BestBuy page. However, in one place on the product, it says the model is BP562 and in another 562N. It seems that Omron is confused.

I'm still trying to figure out how to use this. The directions are not very clear on how to set time and date. I'm not sure the readings are correct. Still need time to play around with this device. I've used an older model in the past and found it to be very accurate.

Works close to a regular arm cuff.

I have a digital arm cuff and the manual arm cuff, the wrist cuff is only a few points different. This is acceptable and much easier to put on than the digital arm cuff, especially if you have to do it by yourself.

This Omron blood pressure monitor reads very close to what our doctor's BP monitor reads---took it to the office and we compared them. The one I had before was way off. This is an excellent monitor and one I recommend to others.

I bought this for my mom. I had gotten her the Omron upper arm cuff a few years back but it is getting harder for her to do it by herself. This wrist unit took care of that and she is back in business.

It was too difficult for me to use an upper arm model, have no problem putting it on my wrist. Took it to my checkup and my Doctor tested it for accuracy, passed the test.

I was a little skeptical of this blood pressure monitor being a wrist model. A few times I've had to have it try a few times just to get it to work, but mostly that is because I'm not holding my arm correctly. I just sit on the couch and prop my arm up with a pillow and it seems to work right.
