It's so fun to have these early Stones now! There are a lot of gems that aren't on the studio albums! I really like different versions of familiar songs!

Good Stones but not the greatest!

The Rolling Stones On Air is an interesting historical artifact, but not the great Live Album I was hoping for. I am a longtime fan who positively subscribes to the oft-stated claim that the Stones are The Greatest Rock 'N'Roll Band in the entire world, and I have seen them do it live 9 times over the last 40-some years, and that great live experience has been captured several times on records and films, but ON Air is not one of them. Oh, it's still The Stones, and that is never bad, but I guess there's a good reason these recordings have gone unissued for so long. There are certainly several gems here, but if you want great live Stones, seek them on Get Yer Ya-Yas Out or Shine A Light, On Air is a fairly mild example of the greatest live band ever.

Absolutely wonderful collection of old Stones songs recorded “live” on various early 60’s British television shows. The variety is excellent and the sound quality is as well. A unique look into the early years of one of the worlds most well known bands before they became that. Thouroughly enjoyable.

I own many BBC collections from various artists (Beatles, Who, Led Zeppelin, etc) so it was finally great to see that these recordings from the Stones were released. These recordings show just how tight they were as a band, probably the best live band in the 1960's.

It is nice to hear the Stones doing some of their early material and some covers in a live situation. The only other source available was "Got Live if you Want it" and the screaming girls really killed the quality of the music. A welcome addition to the collection.

I've been waiting for years for this to be released! The sound is great! There are several tracks that aren't anywhere else, like Hi Heel Sneakers. It's fun to hear alternate versions of songs, especially Everybody Needs Somebody to Love.

2 cd's of 1963 & 1964 Stones tunes, mostly done on British radio and tv shows. The undeniable sound is already taking shape, and the blues influence is rampant in these raw but promising performances. It's an interesting, historical piece-all hard-core Stones fans should grab this. Casual Stones fans will probably want the later, more polished albums.

This was a fun burst on the scene and this CD catches the early days.. I remember when the Stones first burst on the scene, and the Blues influence is really evident . Well worth the money and a great listen.

This is a most terrific collection of early Rolling Stones BBC recordings.32 songs, maybe we will get lucky and find out there are more amazing tunes in the BBC vaults. You won't regret this purchase.

Mostly clean sounding live in the studio with lots of covers, good hearing their influences like on the Beatles BBC recordings (cool hearing them both do Roll Over Beethoven)..

Ahhhh.... the 1960s the mono sound gets lost in a big room full of guests, but it's perfect for listening with earbuds or headphones. Rock on.
