I would have given this 0 stars if it was available. The entire thing was a nightmare from start to finish. I had to try to get someone that spoke English and could understand what I was asking for. Once I was able to book the job, I found out on the day the installation was to take place they couldn't do it because of some kind of insurance they didn't have in the state of Texas. I could never find out exactly what they meant and anyone I asked said they had no idea what they were talking about. I was able to go through Ring Doorbell company and get someone to install it for me at a much cheaper price! Don't waste our time!

Motion detection did not work on video door bell. Tech had turned it off. Ring was wonderful to work with and walked me through updating the firmware (which the tech did not do) and troubleshooting the problem. Ring is sending a new unit which will have to be reinstalled so basically I wasted my money.

Twice the Geek Squad cancelled me. They said in my state (NY) there are legal implications. All they can do is hard-wire the new doorbell. They cannot play with the app to get the thing up and running on the WIFI. The second time, they said something about a third party doing it because of legal implications. Either way, don't use the Geeks Squad for this. You will be very frustrated and will be looking for a licensed electrician instead.

I've been unable to schedule an appointment for this service.

He was very pleasant but said they wouldn't charge me because he couldn't install it. That is what I call honest.n

It took me many phone calls, hours on the phone each time and two appointments scheduled before I ended up asking for a refund. They should not offer this service if nobody at geek squad understands what it is when you try to redeem the service after paying for it. Got my installation done quickly and professionally elsewhere.

The geek squad was unable to install the newest Ring doorbell. They needed a wired doorbell. They ended up refunding the installation cost and we had to return the video doorbell.

Install was very professional and it works great. The Geek Squad person was very kind in showing how it works and making sure it worked properly before leaving. thank you again

These guys just rock. The end. The guy installed the door bell, gave me a run though on the features and we were set! Money well spent!

Twice scheduled installations and twice had to cancel, or was cancelled by the Geek Squad. Horrendous customer service and nobody knows what they are doing with these RING products.

Once again the Geek Squad saved the day. My tech showed up on time, did a thorough explanation of the product, let me know some tips and tricks and left everything clean when he left.

I was very please with the installation. Technician was courteous. Installation was quick. He made sure product worked adequately, and gave me a brief overview of how to use product.

Installer was prompt and courteous. Installed the doorbell and went over instructions.

On time and kept me inform of his arrival. Very knowledgeable

My installer was awesome! He was kind, patient and knowledgeable!

Warning!!! I was transferred to 7 different agents to schedule the installation of my doorbell. The last agent told me that I had to add a "tv connect" service" for $149 to get the door bell installed. I do not need a service to a television, just a doorbell!! I asked for a supervisor and the installation was scheduled. Hopefully, the installation will go smoothly or I will be back to write another review.

I ordered the skybell doorbell camera to replace the ring doorbell I had. When Geeksquad showed up I was told they couldn’t install the doorbell camera because there was an issue with my transformer and told me to call an electrician. They were unhelpful and rude and I ended up returning the skybell camera and getting a refund for the install.

Best Buy sent a 3rd party candidate to do the installed. He struggled a bit, called technical support and eventually got it the device to work in addition to several others.
