    I use this mic stand to make multitrak recordings with my computer software, firewire mixer, and large diaphragm mic w/ shock mount and pop filter. I am very happy with the purchase. See photo for how I have it arranged.

    I bought this desktop mic stand to sit on a desk and hold a microphone. So far, it has not fallen off the desk or dropped the microphone. Mission accomplished, mic stand!

    Quality made, nice heavy base. Exactly what I was hoping it would be. For the price, I was concerned that it would not be made that well, but it has surprising quality. Perfect for a desktop mike holder. The adjustable height is a real bonus.
