    This mic stand I got because I needed one and I could get it for a good price. It works very splendidly with just a regular mic. But if you want to put any kind of shock mount or heavy duty mic, you might be in trouble. I am currently using it with a Blue Yeti Pro mic with a Radius Shockmount. It is leaning over and barely can support the weight. For just a regular microphone however, it gets the job done.
