The 9th Quentin film to be released. Another a great piece of cinema and ode to old Hollywood and film. Personally I think this is one of the movies of the year, w some of the best dialogue all year. The cast is amazing. Quentin did a great job of capturing the essence and feel for that era of film. Great film!

This movie really got me. Also, it def makes the cut of my top 5 of the year. Leo is wonderful, like usual, but in my opinion, Brad Pitt steals this show. It's hard to give plot points without spoiling it, but if you want to watch a near perfectly crafted story, with phenomenal acting, please watch this movie.

I already love this movie each time I saw it in theaters. The artwork for the steel book is great and perfectly fits the style of the film. And to top it all off the inside and even the discs include artwork and film-related art. Another great film from Tarantino and a must-have for physical media collectors!

Brad Pitt makes killing a woman for being rude cool again. Leonardo DiCaprio actually turns in a great performance for once in his life. Cool dog. Tarantino doesn't get in his own way. Margot Robbie shoves her dirty feet in your face.

I haven't heard one person who has seen this film give it a negative review. Its just great. Visual, sonically, & character building all outstanding. It was the Pitt/DiCaprio bromance I never knew I needed. Good friends, good amount of whisky sours, & good appearances from Kurt Russell & Luke Perry.

I absolutely love this movie on so many different levels - the cast, the story, the music... but mostly it’s because it’s Quentin Tarantino’s love letter to Hollywood and shows his passion for filmmaking in the golden age of cinema. A bit long, and classic Tarantino, and it’s all to be soaked up.

Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Leonardo Dicaprio shine in this movie set in 1969. Dicaprio is an almost has-been actor, Pitt plays his stunt double, and Robbie is great as Sharon Tate. Also Luke Perry in his last role before his untimely death. Don't want have a spoiler alert, just buy this DVD!

Tarantino shows his genius work again in his latest new classic. The dialogue is great as usual which makes you laugh at times and also shocks you as he never disappoints with the buildup to his great Tarantino violence to those who have it coming. We loved and have watched over and over!

Not all movies should be released as 4K UHD but this is one of the movies that deserved a type of release. Cinematography was great. When the action came, was totally worth it. Nice movie to add in anyone’s collection.

One of the very few movies actually shot on film, it just beautiful to watch. The story moves leisurely along as you just love being in that world with Charles Manson dancing in the background. The alternate history that Tarantino does is always unexpected and fun.

Good story despite gruesome scenes The story takes place in the same time as the infamous Manson murders and plot hits along points relating to that real life story. If you (or your child) are disturbed by those murders, this movie isn't for you (or your child).

Once Upon A Time In ... Hollywood is Tarantino's love letter to the Hollywood of his youth. Not just the films and stars, but the actual place, the geography and landscape, and--most importantly--the changing of the times and evolution of the culture.

Eight films and an entire lifetime - that’s how long it felt Tarantino has been building up to this magnificent piece of meta movie-making. But here we are, film number 9, and wow, what a gargantuan experience it is. While it may a little too late when posting a review for the physical release, it’s still worth mentioning that this was a film to see on the big screen - just to truly view it in all its gargantuas glory. From the moment the first frame hits, the viewer is introduced to a by-gone era of not Hollywood, but for the television medium as well. And that’s place in time that we find our 2 protagonists feeling nostalgia for. However, just like the times, these 2 gentlemen keep on trucking’ towards their next bit of survival in the city of dreams. From film set-to commercial set-to Hullabaloo-to home in the hills on Cielo - right next door to Polanski and his pregnant wife Sharon - to be exact. And boy, is it an exciting notion to live next to the young up and comers. As Rick (Leo) goes to work on set, drunk and bumbling lines, Cliff (Brad), Rick’s best friend and infamous stunt double, is reduced to helping around the house with oddball chores Rick needs done. Or, while Rick is throwing bits of dialogue in the form of a conversation with a young female actor that’s too human for Rick’s own good - Cliff is cruising the streets of L.A., making eyes towards a young hippie lookin’ to hitch a ride back to Spahn Ranch. Which brings up one of the greatest red herrings to ever be out to work, all in the form of Charles Manson and his family. A piece I’ll leave spoiler free entirely, as well as anything else going forward, as what I’ve already stated feels adequate enough to grasp the grounds we’re walking on. And more importantly, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is more than just its story, it’s also a sum of its world and atmosphere. Living the past through this film is a very easy thing to do, with the sets being authentic and fully built in all its grandiose size, the roar of the real life classic cars, and the bumping soundtrack that immerses one so deep that they can practically smell the old world Los Angeles. And by the end Tarantino gives the audience a full-bore immersion into the end of far too many good things, which is subverted into a story that will add a sense of wonder, if not an ending that shows Tarantino at his most comedic, restrained and explosive. All at the same time.

Three hours with a day in the life vibes with DiCaprio and Pitt at high form, for a massively thrilling, 60s love letter nod to heroes on the small screen trying to stay in the game with a brutal finale and some excellent craft from Tarentino.
