Great movie for Robin Williams fans. This is less well known but shows the great versatility of Robin Williams as an actor.

What a startling film, you know? Like you, I've strayed away from watching One Hour Photo for years based on it's subject matter. But let me say, I did the unthinkable and gave it a watch, and boy was it worth it. Robin Williams knocks it out of the ball as Sy the photo guy who has dedicated his life to giving families the best customer service and photo quality at his job every day. His boss is a jerk, the same jerk from Office Space, and things start to spiral out of control. I coaxed my best friend Leet Larry into watching it, telling him there would be babes in the film. Well, not really. Larry thought Sy was a completely normal guy and I was like, "Larry, are you watching the same movie I am!?" But it's true, Robin Williams is able to make a mentally plagued character have human qualities that still make you root for him as the protagonist, against all odds. The cinematography and style of the movie echo Stanley Kubrick for some reason, and there's one scene that will scare your pants off. Larry immediately had to take a bathroom break when we watched it, and I did too. One Hour Photo is a must watch, especially on blu ray. Let me say, I would search it out and purchase it again if I lost it, you know?

    Underrated Triller

I've always believed this to be one of Robin Williams films best outside-of-comedy films. The acting is great and the character Williams plays is extremely creepy and the plot holds weight and interest. When this came on the scene, indie films weren't as mainstream as they are today, so not many people knew about this film or even bothered to give it a time of day, giving it the ultimate underrated status that it shouldn't deserve.

It’s a bit of a shame that Robin Williams will be mostly remembered as a comedy actor. While this wasn’t his only serious role, & he even won an academy award for a different serious role, comedy is how he’s remembered by that masses. This is an example of Robin at his best as an actor. Great role as an obsessive psychotic character.

One of Robin Williams' best and underrated performances...and the talented late actor was full of them! Was happy to finally find this film in stock and at easily available at a great price! Highly recommend this film if you are a fan of Robin Williams and enjoy psychological thrillers.

Picked it up because I saw Robin Williams in it and I got a whole lot more than I expected. One Hour Photo is a crazy good movie from beginning to end and I assume it’s one of his underrated movies as I’ve never heard of it till now. Totally worth the buy and watch.

Robin Williams delivers one of his best performances as the photo guy trapped in his lonely fantasies in this effective thriller. Through the developing of one family's photos over the years, the photo guy comes to believe he is part of their family. His picture perfect fantasy collides with a dose of reality creating the psychology of this thriller. Well made movie. Blu-ray disc, packaging, picture and sound quality good. Presented in 185:1 aspect ratio.

Watched this movie a while back as a Robin Williams fan. Thought it would be interesting to see him in a Suspense/Thriller role seeing as how I had never seen him in one before. To my surprise he performed extremely well. Williams pulls off sadistic and obsessive better then anyone could guess. My hat to him.

This is Robin Williams like you’ve never seen him before dark and sinister and truly disturbed. It makes me wonder when years ago you would take your film to the pharmacy to have your pictures developed. What was going on behind closed doors.

A dark Robin Williams movie. He's still great even when he's disturbing. Don't know many times I can watch this over and over, but still glad 8 bought it.

this movie was such an interesting choice for Robin Williams to take on, as in some scenes you really forget it's him. The story of a photo developer becoming more and more obsessed with a family is ultimately tragic and unforgettable.

This, "Insomnia", and "Fisher King" show off Robin Williams' ability as a dramatic actor that gets overshadowed by things like "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Aladdin". Give it a shot and be sad that Mark Romanek doesn't get enough work.

Great direction and acting create a creepy good time. See Robin Williams in a role outside of comedy and have your neck hair raise. The special features are worth watching if you are into how the film was made and the creative team that put the film together. Worth a viewing if you need a new scary movie.

Robin Williams gives one of his best dramatic performances as a really creepy photo developer. With todays digital photography this would seem outdated but the movie is still thrilling in concept.
