What a great program about the various ways animals and insects use their instincts to do amazing things. My girlfriend wouldnt stop with the ooooos and wooooows. I have watched it twice and would love to see the other segments bbc has. One thing about it though is that bbc uses different footage of the same sites for other documentaries I believe so I get confused as to which ones I have seen

I f you enjoy nature documentaries, this is one of those blue ray discs that won't disappoint you . It shows interesting aspects of a troupe of monkeys in Japan's mountain area in how they cope with the harshness of the winter. There is a hot spring in this area and it is interesting to see how they take advantage of this source of heat ! This all occurs under a strict hierarchy that exist between them. The photography that is done under these cold conditions is pretty good and as mentioned before, if you are a lover of nature films this is a documentary you should look into.

This is a great wildlife documentary. My daughter loves it. It a great change to see your kids entertained by less graphic violence that seems to be a requirement these days in most movies. I would recommend it for kids of any age.

I am a huge fan of animal documentaries! I have a large collention and just can not get enough. You will learn new facts throughout this dvd.

It was a good movie to watch. We got it when it was discounted. It was mainly about how animal parents take care of their babies.
