I know a lot of fans were disappointed with this album because it didn't sound like the Linkin Park we know and love from the Hybrid Theory era, but I honestly think it's some of their best work. The guys were in their early 20s when Hybrid Theory came out. They've grown and matured in the past 17 years, as evident with this album. So Mike doesn't rap and Chester doesn't scream...it's OKAY. This album is so deep and meaningful and it breaks my heart to think we'll never get to hear what other works of art the guys would produce for us.

After the first full listen of the whole album i was definitely disappointed. After several more, i definitely like it more now. You have to get used to the sound it's very different then any other album they have released. In the end it's still linkin park i have been a die hard fan since day one so i will except this change of genres.

This album moves farther away from the nu metal sound of their early years to deliver a more pop friendly sound in the mold of Twenty One Pilots and Coldplay. It is a decidedly different sound for them and this album will leave some fans wondering what might have been next for LP with Chester at the helm.

I have been a fan of Linkin Park since Hybrid Theory. and while it is true that their music doesn't sound the how Hybrid Theory sounded that doesn't make it bad music. This album is good and easy listening People need to stop complaining or just stop listening to them if they want another Hybrid Theory

I just have to accept the fact that old Hybrid Theory Linkin Park will never come back. It's a pop record it's different, kudos for the artistic growth but it's not what I wanted from them. If you take away the Linkin Park name, and don't really pay attention that it's them, it's actually pretty good

Linkin Park being experimental again, or maybe they're finally getting old. All in all though, music is good on this. You may not recognize them, heck even I had to recheck the cover to be sure. If you're a big L.P. fan, go get it. Casual fan...listen to it on whatever app you have first.

This is a different approach for Linkin Park, most of the songs are very Pop friendly and there are no screaming vocals at all. I think at first some people will not like it but as you keep on hearing it and get used to the new sound of LP, people will like it, the songs are very catchy.

It's not their normal fare of music but it's still worth listening to. Some will not like the new songs if you are a hardcore fan but we have the old songs to have for the old sound. The new stuff is different but decent and I'm still a fan, even if it's not their normal fare or style.

Although not their strongest release by far, there are definitely some songs on this record that deserve to be considered classic Linkin Park tunes. Nobody Can Save Me, Battle Symphony, Heavy, One More Light, and Sharp Edges are great stand-outs that are definitely worth a listen.

Ok, so linkin park this is not...BUT, there is a great pop album here done by linkin park. Chester is melodic the entire album and unlike thousand suns there is still a full band here. I recommend but caution this is not the follow up to Hunting Party we were expecting.

Don't listen to the bad reviews of this album. I picked this up and it's a masterpiece of an album. I can listen to this without skipping a single track. One More Light shows just how much LP has grown as musicians over the years. This album gives you more insight into Chester Bennington's depression and makes you feel his pain. Very sad about such a huge loss. RIP Chester

This is a great album, even the last track which has a bit of a country feel to it (which realy isnt a genre that I'm in to) is pretty good. The first track on the album "no body can save me" OMG its an amazing track, had it stuck on replay for a few days after first hearing it. Buy the album you wont regret it. Its the last of the greatest band of all time Linkin Park.

There are a few tracks on this CD that make me cock my head and a couple sound right out of today's Top 40...which is very odd for this band. To me, though, they still largely retain a good portion of their signature sound on most of their tracks.

I've been a fan for several years and I listen to all different styles of music. I think this is an awesome sound for them and a departure from Chester screaming his lyrics. Shows Mike has a great voice when he's not rapping. Well done guys!!!

RIP Chester Bennington. You were the BEST. Although this is a little different style from their usual music it is a beautiful and well done album. There are undertones of his mindset that went unnoticed that resulted in this incredible CD. If this is Linkin Parks last album it is unfortunate. I will never stop listening to it!!

LP took an ubrupt u turn from the hunting party with this album. It's more pop/electronica then their typical nu metal sound. The lyrics can still be a lil dark but there's no screaming like usual Lp.
Overall it's a great

Last recordings of Chester and most songs are him showcasing his voice. It's like the band knew it was his last effort and let him have the stage. If you prefer his voice over the rap side of Linkin Park, you'll enjoy this one.

I ended up liking this album a lot more than I thought I would, but I'm not "in love" with it. It has some really good songs in "Invisible," "Heavy," and my favorite - "Sorry for Now." But the rest of them... not LP's best work.

If you havent already gotten this album, please do, you wont be disappointed, well unless your hoping its going to be another HYBRID THEORY. Just dont!

This new album hits it right off from start to finish with each songs. Linkin park scores just right with it's album and doesn't look like it slows down.If you like this type of rock music, go with linkin park.
