I got this set for my daughter who has been watching the series since it began. It tracks the lives of young teens into their young adult lives. My daughter convinced me watch a few episodes to get an understanding of the show since I have never watched it before. I have to say, it’s entertaining. Driven more towards teens and young adults of the current times but in my opinion it covers a lot of modern issues facing this generation. Not to over board I have to say since what is on TV now is mostly trash in my opinion and I screen what my kids view very closely as best I can. Well worth the money that is nine seasons long. I highly recommend.

Even though I have not yet watched any of the DVDs, I know that they're going to be great. I bought them so that I would for sure have every season in the crazy case when and if Netflix took it off.

Great collection and you will love every season. Each season keeps you wondering was is going to happen to the Scott boys.

The family is enjoying watching one tree hill again.

My wife has been re-watching this show recently and asked for the remaining seasons she hasn't seen on DVD. So I began looking and came across this box set, and immediately thought - WTH?! Then I scrolled down and saw you can buy each season individually for about $20, with the 9th season for $35. Doing the math, that comes out to roughly $200. So WHY in the heck is the boxed set - which appears to come with nothing else special - $450+?? This makes no sense, unless you're trying to grab the allure of "OOOOH, it's the BOX SET" Do yourself a HUGE favor and just buy each individually.

So glad I was able to snatch the entire series since they are removing it from Netflix. Highly recommend buying them!!
