The OnePlus 13R for me has been a great phone, however it's also been nothing but issues. The display is so good, the colors are excellent, the bezels are thin and sleek, and the peak brightness is great, with OnePlus claiming the HBM (High Brightness Mode) is 1600 nits, and peak brightness at 4500 nits (Though GSMArena tested the max brightness to be 1223 nits in auto mode, and 820 nits in manual mode, and for comparison, they measured the Pixel 10 Pro XL at 2340 nits in auto mode, and 1366 nits in manual mode, and Google claims a HBM brightness of 2200 nits & 3300 nits peak brightness). I love OxygenOS and how it feels, it's really a great experience and the 13R's speed is good, even with the last generation chipset, however, I have also experienced overheating issues which throttles the phone down automatically, which isn't fun. It's kinda crazy, like I can just be on break sitting in my car with the A/C on, then android auto is yelling about how my phones overheating and to turn off the screen, then my phones brightness turns down so low and I struggle to see the screen in the sun. Also my main camera straight up stopped working after like 3 months, I never even dropped my phone, just one day the main camera stop focusing on anything medium distance or long distance, it can only focus on things like 4 inches away now, and even in pro mode trying every focus setting, no change. I've contacted OnePlus for a repair so hopefully that fixes that, but that's still ridiculous for a camera to stop working after that short time. The camera sensors on the 13R aren't the best in the first place, it's heavily reliant on image processing, which with how aggressive it is you'll either love or hate it. It's a great phone and I love it, but the constant hardware issues make it hard to trust OnePlus for my next phone.

I picked up the OnePlus 13R because I wanted flagship speed without paying the top-tier price, and this phone absolutely delivers. If you're looking for a beast of a performer, this is the one. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor combined with all that RAM makes everything buttery smooth. Games run flawlessly at high settings, and I can switch between demanding apps instantly. It simply flies—no lag anywhere. The battery life is incredible. The 6,000mAh battery easily gets me through two days of regular use, and even with heavy gaming, I'm not scrambling for a charger by dinner. Plus, the fast wired charging (80W!) means I top up in under an hour. The 1.5K ProXDR display is gorgeous and incredibly bright—perfect for outdoor use. The only honest compromise is the camera. While the main 50MP sensor takes very good photos in decent light, the ultrawide and especially the selfie camera feel less refined than what you get on the more expensive flagship phones.

I usually never write reviews, but after using this phone I feel like I had to. This is the best phone I have ever had. The battery is amazing and lasts forever and charges fast. The screen is bright and vibrant. It feels amazing in the hand, huge improvement being a square size and flat screen over the 12r. That was actually the only thing holding me back from going OnePlus coming from a Samsung and they fixed it in an amazing way actually listening to the community. The color and subtle circular pattern on the back coming from the camera is sick and gives it personality. The speed is more than enough for me, it runs every single game and application I could want without a single hiccup. Not the best camera out there but still amazing to me I rarely use it. The only single gripe I have is their OxygenOS platform. Overall it isn't bad, but mainly I really don't like the notifications and quick settings. They are kind of abnormally sized and feels inconvenient. Besides that I do not really have an issue with it. Overall for the $500 I got it for. This phone crushes any phone in its price point and even phones $500+ more than it.

After breaking my old Pixel 7 Pro I needed a new phone quick. This was available and on sale, and the biggest praise I can give this phone is that it feels like an almost complete upgrade from my Pixel, other than the camera. The body is metal, it feels nice. The screen can be veeeery bright which is amazing. The software is the best I've used, OnePlus has amazing multitasking apps. Also the battery life and charging just rocks. While everything else is amazing, I really miss the camera on my Pixel 7 Pro. This camera is great, but as other reviews mention it's not amazing. Overall, while I didn't want to buy a new phone, it's genuinely a great device. Get a case, though, it's pretty slippery without it.

What a phone. I came from a Galaxy 24 ultra and I am not disappointed. I have always liked OneOlus and was waiting for the this style of phone. Phone is a great size for seeing YouTube or watching movies. 13r has great battery it last pretty much all day for me. By the end of the night I'm still at about 25 percent battery left. Also one of the few phones that actually come with a charger in the box, and it's a fast charger as well. Great camera takes really good pictures very clear with lots of colors. Speakers sound loud and clear. I work outside so the screen gets pretty bright no trouble seeing what's on the screen in direct sunlight. Overall I'm very happy and satisfied with my new OnePlus 13R.

Fantastic value and quality device. Pros- 1. Display 2. Battery. - 7-8 hours SoT, almost 2 days for me. 3. performance - buttery smooth 4. Customization- really like their take on Android 5. Unlocked Con/Mid: 1. Camera is GOOD, not GREAT, but I LOVE taking pics on this phone compared to a Pixel 9. Objectively I feel the Iphone and Pixel take better pics, but thats not to say the One plus takes poor shots. Last few android phones have been Pixel's (6-9) and prefer this one. Highly recommended.

Solid phone, great battery life, great screen. Actually got this phone for my grandmother, her last Samsung phone crapped out on her. She likes of the battery life is much better than the screen is very nice and the speakers are loud. The phone also charges quite a bit quicker.

The most value in a smartphone. Literally. You can't go wrong with the OnePlus 13r in terms of capability, speed, and even photography. I am coming from a Google Pixel 9 Pro and everything about the OnePlus 13r makes your vanilla Android experience 100% better - and it's not even a OnePlus flagship phone. Oxygen OS keeps the simplicity of Android but has added features and a user interface making the user experience very friendly, unlike Samsung's user experience. I was also considering the 2025 Motorola since Moto is known for a near vanilla Android experience, but the hardware specs pulled my attention to the OnePlus 13r. What's more is that OnePlus 13r includes Avast antivirus and malware protection at no additional cost and preinstalled. OnePlus also offers device cleanup installed to help keep your phone running smooth and lag free. The Snapdragon processor, 12GB of ram, and 256GB of storage literally blows my Pixel 9 Pro away (even though the Pixel 9 Pro has 16GB of ram - the Pixel Tensor slows everything down to a crawl). So, as someone who is (and has been) a Google and Pixel fan since the evolution of the Nexus phone, I would highly recommend the OnePlus 13r as a daily driver.

The hardware on this phone is second to none. Screen, chip, battery life, all great. The OS can be buggy, though. I had to factory reset it to get my text notifications to work again properly after an OS update. The Android Auto connection is also very unreliable. I like the features of OxygenOS, i just hope they fix some bugs and make it a bit more stable. Still, though - 6,000 mAh battery, one-year-old flagship chip, and 1-120 hz screen is pretty phenomenal for $600 (and i got a $100 giftcard). Literally half of what Apple would charge for a comparable phone.

The OnePlus 13R is an absolute powerhouse for the price. The performance is buttery smooth, thanks to the powerful processor and optimized OxygenOS. The display is stunning with vibrant colors and excellent brightness. Battery life easily lasts a full day with heavy usage, and fast charging is a lifesaver. Truly feels like a premium flagship at a reasonable cost.

Probably the best value for mid-range Android phones. Probably the only negatives are lack of wireless charging and full IP68/9 rating. But otherwise you're getting a solid camera, great display, major performance, and a massive 6000mAh battery to last you all day. I picked it on sale for under $500 to be my backup for my Pixel 9 Pro XL that needed a broken screen replaced but kinda having a hard time going back to the Pixel.

[Employee of bestbuy] I love the camera system on here (50MP Wide + 50MP Telephoto + 8MP Ultrawide). The photo processing is very crisp under the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which gives exceptional performance when it comes to gaming. I there are four power modes ranging from mobility to performance. Using the least power setting, this device pumps out 20 hours of non-stop usage. Using the most power setting, this device pumps out 12 hours of non-stop usage. The speaker quality could be better, but compromises must be made. The selfie camera is very responsive to facial recognition prompts and provides adequate quality for photos. I love the big screen size and crisp display that the phone possesses. The 3-in-1 mute slider is a fantastic feature. Overall, this is a solid device!!!

Absolutely loving the OnePlus 13R! I got it for my dad and he’s been blown away by how smooth and feature-packed it is. From the vibrant display to the blazing-fast performance, this phone delivers on all fronts. What really stands out is the battery life—it easily lasts him through the entire day with plenty to spare. He’s been exploring all the features and loving every bit of it. OnePlus really nailed it with this one!

So far so good I had the 11 5g to the 13R and I love it so far the sleek new look larger screen more memory. And the charging is so fast. Also my battery life I barely charge this phone maybe for a few minutes a day of that. For the features and specs this phone has at the cost is 100% worth it over going with a brand like apple or Samsung because you will get less for more.

The phone is fast and solid. The feel of the etched back is great, I especially like the "artwork" of the Astral Trail lines the circle around the camera island, very nice touch! I prefer the 'squared' edges and flat screen over a curved screen, that's my main reason for choosing this over the OnePlus 13. Though it is "last years" leading CPU, it is still plenty fast. Other than the hole punch for the camera (I prefer a bezel) this is a great phone, and I recommend it!

Great device for the price. Nice display - very usable even in direct sun. Great battery -last 2 days for my usage and fast charge. Camera is very good. May be not as good as on some $900 phones, but def gets job done. 4k video recording, after software update, is finally where it should be. 2 physical sim or sim + esim very convenient for frequent travelers!

First of all the battery life is incredible. I'm so glad I chose this phone to make the switch from iPhone after decades. No bloatware and great pictures. Love the fast charging as well. The screen is impressive and video playback is top notch. Thanks to RCS texting I easily swapped from the iPhone without missing texts etc. Absolutely love this phone so far.

If you are planning on getting a phone with flaghship specs for a price a regular human being can pay, this is definetily THE PHONE to get, what you miss from the big brother is IP68 rating, ultrasonic fingertip reader and wireless charging, a "worse" processor, but the rest is the same Excellent battery life, screen is gorgeous, camera is aweome, I'm coming from a OnePlus 6T and the upgrade is totally worth it. You DO NOT NEED to speend 1k for a phone, you SHOULD NOT DO IT, get this one, and use the extra money to do whatever else you please to do.

Phenomenal phone with a fast processor and beautiful display. Having used this side by side with a Pixel 8 Pro, I was shocked to feel how much more premium this phone felt in the hand. The only thing the Pixel did better was take slightly better photos. I don't think you are going to find a better value for money than you will get with this phone. Comes with 4 years of android updates and 6 years of security patches, so you could feasibly use this phone with full security for 6 years. Incredible value, if you've been on the fence about buying it go ahead and do it... you won't regret it.
