First Onkyo receiver served my family over 20 years, finally decide to retire it after my HDTV and blu-ray DVD player no longer can connect to the old unit. This Onkyo receiver has everything I am looking for, HDMI, component, composite and bluetooth. Use the same speakers from old unit, sound quality is great, I can say it's better than my old unit and video quality to the HDTV also excellent. Other brand will cost at least $450-$500, at this price, nothing can beat it. And don't mistake, the quality is very decent!

Good entry to medium level system! Wish it had a couple more HDMI connects and network connection. Cyber Monday pricing made it a great purchase!

After reviewing the specs and reviews from this and comparable products I decided to walk into the store and physically compare the finalists. Once I settled on the Onkyo, the Rep had to bring one from the back. Evidently, the store wasn't going to stock them anymore and it was half price (not if I bought it online and had it shipped there). Easy to set up, sounds great a,d like I said, best deal ever!

I have always loved Onkyo products and this receiver does not disappoint! Setup is very user friendly. Switching between inputs are effortless, it'll take care of everything for you at the push of a button. Works perfectly with my LG TV and Samsung Blu Ray player. Connect your phone with Bluetooth and your music plays with ease. Love it!!!

Allowed for 4K transfer and audio so it was great for my new 4K tv set quality is great and the price was even better.

I've been a strong supporter of Onkyo for years and wanted to upgrade from my old Onkyo unit. The reviews looked great on this unit when I got it home and installed it worked GREAT for the first few days sound quality is outstanding, but after a few days the Bluetooth stopped working. I tried a factory reset, it fixed the issue for a few hours and it went out again. This has happened on a total of 3 units, I've tried contacting Onkyo directly with no answer or call back. Onkyo has officially lost a dedicated customer.

"I used the microphone to setup the system and tried many manual adjustments following, but I could not get a good mix of speech to sound effects. The center speaker is too muted and too much bass and mid are pushed to the front speakers. There seems to be a gap between the mid and the upper end, or speech/treble (again in comparison to my other receiver) with no way to adjust it." I bought this receiver for Dolby Atmos. The blue tooth was a great extra. Atmos is great and I can't wait for more titles using it.

Replaced my Yamaha with this unit and it didn't disappoint. Great range for both music and films. Very impressed with Onkyo.

This thing is now 6 years old and has gone through 4 moves. The only issue I've had is dust accumulating inside and messingnwith the connection. Living in Arizona does that so that's on me

Worked great for 16 days then quit. It won't power up at all now.

I purchased this receiver solely on the recommendation of the Best Buy staff. 4 months later no sound. Went online and this is apparently not an isolated issue. The closest service center to Colorado in is Huntington Beach CA. Best Buy will no nothing at Geek Squad. Don't waste your money, buy a better system that won't be landfill fodder in less than a year.
