I have always used known products like Pioneer when purchasing audio equipment. I had my concerns before the purchase and now that I have setup the receiver it is very easy to install and the sound is great.

This product has many good points, to include ease of set up, ease of use, lots of features, etc. First amp I have bought in 20+ years and has all of the latest features to support my new Blu-Ray and LG TV.

I don't regret the purchase because it is providing excellent sound quality but after getting this receiver that doesn't have the same options that my previous receiver (which I used for over 20 years) leaves me a little disappointed. If you like to play with the equalizer to change the sound you will be disappointed too. There is also very little of display at all. I also don't like that there was no phono on it either. It provides excellent sound but it isn't necessarily an audiophile receveiver but an entertainment system receiver.

Best price for comparable models. This has plenty of inputs and outputs. Supports up to 7.1 surround and has B zone (so you can control indoor/outdoor speakers. Easy to set up and use. No problems.

This Onkyo device is excellent. We had bought the same unit about 11/12 year's ago (cant remember) from Best buy this one is more powerful and easy-to-use with more functionality. Love it.

This item was very easy to set up, the instruction were clear. Sounds great with my old Bose 301 bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer.

Very feature rich for the price point. It has Bluetooth but lacks Wifi but this is all in all a great receiver for the money!

I finally decided to upgrade from the receiver I purchased over 20 years ago, and get one that I could use as a hub for all of my audio needs. It connects perfectly with my TV, cable box, Blu-Ray, as well as my phone and laptop using bluetooth. Now my kids can listen to music via YouTube or iTunes, and surround for movies and such. Plenty of inputs, easy to understand and set up. And, it was all at a great price.

If you can find it on sale this is an awesome entry level receiver! It doesn't have a ton of the new features out there but it will get the job done if you are just looking to start out with an entry level surround set. After purchasing the Klipsch R series speakers I realized this didn't have adequate power to push to all the speakers. That was per a Klipsch and an Onkyo rep, other people online said it would do but I didn't want to risk under powering my setup. So I had to return it.

Easy to set up great performance. The quality sound provided by this receiver is excellent. I would recommend this for the price and performance.

Bought this for my daughter. Easily set up. Has great range and sound. remote easy to work. Got on Black Friday prices, made it even better.

My husband purchased this to replace an old one. We love it, we can Bluetooth our phones to listen to music, volume is loud and crisp.

My prior Onkyo Receiver was a cheap one from a Home Theater in a Box. When the video quit on it, and Black Friday was around the corner, I decided to take advantage of my BBY Early Shopping to get this receiver. I'm sure glad I did that. It was not only a good price point for me, it improved the video quality on my TV greatly. I guess that's just because it's a better quality device than my old receiver. But I was very surprised at how well blu-rays look now playing on my PS3 through this receiver.

Easy to install. I upgraded to a 3D 4K receiver since I got a new tv. Good price for our budget. Serves my purpose.
