I've been an onkyo fan for years but wasn't set on this model but glad I purchased it. Easy set up and I like that it had both wifi and Bluetooth and the Dolby atmos is a bonus at this price.

It takes all inputs and outputs over HDMI, making it easy to watch on a TV without having to change inputs on both the receiver and the TV. Bluetooth works great to play music from my phone.

Not bad for the money. We purchased this to work with 5:1 surround and it does the job. We bought a smart tv to replace and old tube tv so it was pandoras box since you have to replace components with hdmi connections to get the best picture and sound.

Everything actually works better than I expected. It's the hub of my entertainment environment. My wife and I love it. She can actually use it without calling me. A definite plus.

I purchased this as a replacement for a TXNR616 that had bit the dust. The TXNR545 has some issues of its own but has been a good replacement. The issue is related to audio. Every once in a while when watching TV when the type of audio signal changes like from 5.1 to 2 channel the sound will become garbled. Changing channels will restore the audio but the is still an issue that needs to be addressed in with a firmware update. This is a solid receiver and I would recommend it to others.

This unit is the command center for all of my AV needs. Composite, component, hdmi, rca… everything goes in and all comes out through the one HDMI and works perfectly.

It's awesome! Not only do I have 7.1 surround sound, I have my xbox, bluRay player & debt box connected to it. I can control it with one remote.

Shop for the rest but you will end up with this recever. Its extremely friendly. A suggestion, make sure you upgrade yiur speakers to ensure the whole system is up to the best standards

I have had very good luck with Onkyo receivers and this is no exception. This model was extremely easy to set up!

Got this on sale for $150 lower than normal (I believe), it's a great receiver that fits in with my other Onkyo components.

Very easy to hook up and the remote is easy to use.

The receiver syncs well with the Sony smart TV and was easy to program.

This is a great receiver with plenty of power. The remote is a little confusing.

I purchased this product is a stereo replacement since it's quite difficult to find a high-quality receiver by itself. The Onkyo name it's a very reputable one. I have had their products in the past and been very satisfied. This unit not only replaced my stereo receiver, but it also doubles as a home theater. Once I get the additional speakers installed I will be even more satisfied than I currently am. I would highly recommend this product.

I wanted to upgrade my old Yamaha receiver with one with wireless capabilities. The Best Buy sales rep suggested the ONKYO 7.2 ch and is very please with the performance and support from ONKYO. This receiver built in protection for speaker wire short.

I love the crystal- clear sound. No distortion.. This product made my surround sound the greatest!!!!

I like the Yoga 3 a lot but primarily as an ultra lightweight laptop. No complaints whatsoever in that regard. As a tablet I am less impressed - maybe it is Windows which means that some apps I always use on my iPad (e.g., WSJ) aren't available (don't understand why) and I still at times struggle with the clunky pad interface. But since my primary need was for a laptop these are minor issues for me.
