This reciever is wonderful! We have had no issues with it! And it is easy to use! The system we have it hooked up to has so much depth and clarity! So happy with this purchase!

I did a lot of research before I bought this receiver. I found that ONKYO and Yamaha were reviewed the highest. I had purchased a Yamaha and it did not work with my set-up of DVD player, TV and satellite so I went with an earlier version of the ONKYO and was not disappointed. I owned it for almost 6 years and felt since it was not HD compatible I should upgrade.

I upgraded my Onyko TX-NR616 to have the HDCP2.2 compliance feature for my 4K LG TV and ROKU 4 player. While the TX-NR454 only passes whatever resolution is fed into it and doesn't upscale it works just fine plus the audio sounds great.

It was the exact receiver that we were looking for. Easy to set up.

This receiver was a great purchase and has all the bells and whistles. I love the Bluetooth connectivity and the zone 2 capabilities. The sound is amazing and the cost was right in my budget.

This receiver has it all. Its primary function that I was looking for the ability to have dual zones. I was able to set of my home theater as well as a stereo setup outside.

This is loaded with everything you need in a home theater system.Easy to set up and would recommend this .

This receiver really out performs my last Onkyo receiver. Setup was easy and straight forward. If you have never setup a HT receiver you really shouldn't have any problems because everything is color coded and Audessy really helps. Obviously I used my own speaker wire with banana plugs and so on. In this price range I think this is a very nice addition to any home theater. I have tried other brands but Onkyo to me still has the best output for audio audio.

Can't beat the discount on a brand new item that's marked as open box. Love the reciever. Replaced a dying Sony reciever. Can't believe the sound and easy to use settings this has.

We replaced a very old Pioneer receiver with this. Can't get over the difference. Sound quality is amazing. We don't have a large living room and even the slightest background noise in a movie resonates which is exactly what we were looking for in a new receiver. Makes you feel like you're really there. Very happy.

Good bang for your buck on the audio side of the equation. Bluetooth and network connectivity are nice. Sounds great pushing movie audio through 7.2 setup. Issue is the HDMI video switches. "Set top box" didn't work right out of the box and a second HDMI quit within a week or so. Pass through video doesn't look as good as 4K connected to the tv so if your tv has enough HDMI inputs that support 4K signal, this is a reasonable audio only component. If you want all in to the receiver and one "out" to the TV......not so much.

Bought this as an open box item to replace my old Harmon Kardon AVR2600. So far, I am impressed by this receiver. It provides ample power to my JBL speakers. I purchased the Onkyo SKH-410 Atmos speakers, but need to rearrange and mount my current speakers. The Wifi and Bluetooth has worked perfectly so far.

We had a same brand system for almost 10 years before our fat, shedding cat decided it was a great napping place when we were at work!
