I was lucky enough to find an open box deal on this item and it was well worth what I paid. My old, 5-channel receiver went kaput and I upgraded to this 7 channel. The sound quality is great and the setup was very easy. Only problem I have now, is I need to buy two more speakers for inside my living room and then 2 more outdoor speakers as we commonly leave the back door open and watch football from the deck when the weather is cool.

This is definitely a great unit that has all the major bells and whistles that you would want from a audio unit. Connected to my projector and AppleTV and it's incredible

I looked at several receivers and read many reviews before settling on the Onkyo. It has all of the same features as the Pioneer Elite but without the high price. The wifi is great and has never lost connection. 6 hdmi ins with 3 of them HDCP 2.2. The sound is very crisp and it sounds awesome! With the Bluetooth it is great being able to play music from my iPhone. Don't waste your money on the higher priced units.

This receiver has all the bells and whistles considering the low price! It has true multi room function BUT you will need to sacrifice your surround speakers if you are going to use it. You do keep your fronts, center, and sub. Bluetooth and Net connection for Spotify and Pandora. Or to hook up music from your smart phone. Sound is clear with great bass and treble. Remote is a bit cheap looking but does the job.

So easy to use and great sound. Can't beat the price compared to higher-end models.

Got this for 300 and work very well. construction is sturdy and output is quite big for this range. HDMI up conversion to 4k works well, but the pixel quality is ok.Having connected to Klipsch speakers and sound quality is pretty amazing.

Set-up was very easy. It has great sound and Bluetooth is an excellent option.

Bought this when my old Onkyo died after many years. Had a little trouble with set up but once figured out, the sound was really good but I had an issue with having to turn the volume up fairly high to get sound out of the speakers. Could have just been my speaker system (also old)? Ultimately I returned this receiver and replaced with a Pioneer (which I learned is owned by Onkyo).I was surprised I had this issue since the old Onkyo was fantastic and lasted a long time. People at Best Buy were very helpful through out this process.

I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical because I had never heard of onkyo before. Has been hooked up for over a week now and I love it! My last one was older and didn't have Bluetooth. The connectivity on this is astounding and stays connected even with my phone several rooms over! So far I love it and it's very user friendly.

This Onkyo system continues to amaze me with its ability to bring beautiful sound just the way I like it. Im still finding things out about this receiver that I was unaware of before. The price point is pretty significant compared to it s big brother just above it. I did shop and compare through CNET and others and this reciever got excellent reviews. It has it all.

I found this receiver as an open box since it was originally a display model. This thing works great! All my HDMI cords now go through this unit instead of having to swap them in the back of the tv since my tv only has 2 hdmi inputs. Quality sound! Now to upgrade my speakers!

I purchased this to replace a Kenwood receiver I had. So far I have been very pleased with this unit. I love the app on your phone that you can use in place of a remote. It has bluetooth and internet apps both which I have already used and found to work flawless. The sound is crisp.

I replaced a onkyo reciever with this one. The old model lasted 10 years so I figured I would go with onkyo again. Reciever shave come a long way. Easy to set up and so far has been great.

I was using an older 7.1 Onkyo receiver for years and I loved it. So when it was time to upgrade to a 4K capable receiver I went with this one and I was not disappointed. This receiver works/sounds great and allows my Xbox One S to display in 4K.

Using it with 75 inch Sony 4K and Klipsch reference series. Sound quality is good. Wish is had a little more power per channel as I have to turn the volume to 60 to provide adequate power to all the speakers. Sound quality and features of this receiver are good. Simple remote

This is not the most expensive, but it does everything well. No issues at all with setup, with decent instructions for novices. Plenty of power for a 15 x 25 family room. Bluetooth works well, pass thru works well, no complaints.

Had to replace my Pioneer receiver. Wanted a unit that provided a 2nd zone or B-speaker output as well. Unfortunately couldnt find any 5.1 units with a/b speaker feature. So i was going to replace it with a sony 7.2 that was on sale for 199. But found this one open box special for only $40 more. Sure it didn't have as many dsp modes or dolby processors. But that was made up with all the other features and quality of sound. As it was described the sony unit i was looking at was a yugo with all the bells and whistles. And this onkyo was a base model Mercedes. Plus it has dolby atmos and nerual x.

With so many different apps on the Internet, movies and music this system handles it all. It's easy to install, easy to sync up with wifi, Bluetooth or Apple Air. It has become a centerpiece in our home.

I had a 15 year old Onkyo that I upgraded with this one, as I was looking for 4K/HDR and Dolby Atmos support. Price was one of the lowest for a 4K/HDR and Dolby Atmos. So far, its working like a champ.

I had to purchase a new Receiver, I wanted to keep the same Brand. This ONKYO receiver more than met my expectaions. 7.2 system, Bluetooth, WiFi, I ran updates and now have DTS X sound. An excellent receiver.
