I researched this item because I wanted to use my iPod to play music. It was easy to hook up and pair both items and I have Onkyo and Bluetooth to thank for that. I have large 15 inch and 12 inch speakers in each cabinet and this Onkyo makes them both work. It is a great piece of equipment. I would recommend this to any one who love music.

Looking for an inexpensive network enabled receiver with tuner and a subwoofer connection. Onkyo TX-8140 is a perfect match!

Purchased this receiver to replace an ancient model. Wanted a simple two channel for my turntable and CD player. Sound is outstanding--pure beauty with tons of power. A big bonus is the satellite radio option. Pandora streams over the home network with nary a disruption and perfect sound. Thought the price was a bit high for a two channel until I heard the sound. It's worth it.

Replaced an older unit and found better sound clarity and other functions not experienced before. Gives access to many options like Pandora and others.

Great sound and all options (so far) have been easy to setup. Not only can I listen to my vinyl collection, but I have Sirrus radio and even connected to my pc all through WiFi.

Love how easy it is to connect to wi-fi and play my pandora as well as my itunes music library on this device!

Hard to find a 2 channel stereo receivef with a usb port. The USB plays all my digital music and dislpays the CD titles and song list. Beware, this USB port will only recognize 32 Gb thumb drives or less. Happy with this receiver so far.

I will never get anything besides onkyo. By far the best bang for your buck. Sounds great and the Wi-Fi feature is nice too.

I have 2 of these now and have downloaded the app, it works great, no problems.
