Great price on receiver. Easy to operate and great sound

This receiver was an upgrade from my older Denon receiver which finally blew a fuse. The unit was fairly easy to set up. I love the blue tooth capability. The only concern is my old unit had electrical outlets in the rear to control other components, but this one does not. The subwoofer now has to be plugged in separately & turned on and off independent of the receiver. this was a nice feature of the older receivers.

This is a great receiver, I only gave it 4 stars because of some odd nuances, like not being able to use full DTX unless CEC is on. But once the few software issues/navigations can be corrected, it would be almost perfect. However, other than the few little issues, this is a great receiver, sounds good and clear, supports pass through, dolby vision, multiple zones, etc. for the price it really cat be beat.

great sound output quality, great price, amazing quality

This receiver is working just like we had hoped. We have it connected to our surround sound built in speakers in the living room and switch between using it for the TV and for Xbox gaming. We are hoping to hook up to our separate back porch speakers but haven't found out if that is possible yet. It may depend on how our house wiring is. Regardless, this is working inside just like we wanted

Great receiver cause it handles what speakers I have now but I can add more later and it will handle that too!

I received a very good deal on my display/open box item. Minus a few scratches, this Home Theater Receiver performs like a charm. I was/am able to receive the internet radio stations that I had previously wanted to tune to. For the price of this unit, I am very satisfied with this deal.

I got this amplifier on sale about $100 under retail all in all it’s a really clean clear amplifier there are a few little glitches that are to be expected but for a medium size room.... if you’ve got some decent speakers it’s a beautiful AV or music amplifier it even linked to my phone when I was two blocks away so it’s got great distance pairing on it

Bought this to replace an older Pioneer Elite system and start my upgrade to 4K video. Sound is excellent and there are many apps and options to choose from. Always had a problem with the Pioneer system and the rear speakers, but this Onkyo system gives full, rich sound to all speakers. Deep bass and full, clear upper ranges. Definitely a positive upgrade.

The receiver performs as advertised. Its multitude of inputs make it the ideal low cost receiver for combining theater and audio applications. The music enhancement feature does a good job of expanding the sound of MP3's. I am extremely happy with this choice of receiver.

Love my New Onkyo receiver. Modern technologies is both Magical and Fantasy mixed together.

This is the second Onkyo that I have purchased for my home. Setup was easy, and it sounds great. The only problem I have come across is that I have to turn the sound up to around 58 for streaming movies. My other Onkyo I only have to turn the sound up to around 27 to 30. Not sure why I have to turn it up so loud to hear it comfortably.

I got this AV receiver from Best Buy with a price match. I really appreciate the interaction with online sales agent. I tried playing this AV with Harmon Kardon 5.1 speaker and i liked the sound. Not tried any ATMOS as i need to upgrade my speaker system

Great receiver for the price. Wanted one with a phono jack.it was easy to hook up

Got this one to replace an old sony(still working) and after the switch out and cutting out the back of my media cabinet- it's deeper than the sony- I got down to running the set up with the supplied mic. Speakers are a mix of Bose and Boston Acoustics and a Polk center, Yamaha sub, and the setup ran flawlessly. Linking to the network, adding the 4k bluray, directv, hd dvd and games was a quick deal. 6 hdmi inputs make connectivity a snap, Got a Rocketfish 4k cable in from 4k dvd payer and Monster 4k cable out to 4k vizio. My vizio works beautifully with this receiver acting as switch between sources, outputting audio thru it when on and thru tv when off. No regrets about this purchase! Strangely enough, my first receiver I bought 40 years ago was also an Onkyo- liked it then, still have it and it works, and love this now.

Bought this to replace my 17ish year old sony receiver and I am very happy with this one....it took a minute to tweak the equalizer. But once I had that done it sounded great. And all the new hdmi ports were a life saver!
