I did a lot of research to identify an option for a landline for a senior relative. Uma consistently came up as the best and lowest price option. I carefully researched as some of their products had reviews, stating that you were locked in to a premium subscription and could not downgrade. I thought I had made sure that this was one of those products and unfortunately it isn’t.
Uma stated that they cannot downgrade the subscription on any products not bought directly through them. So if you want to be locked into a lifetime premium subscription at $17 or more a month this product is for you.
I’m ultimately having to return this product and replace it with one bite directly from Uma so that I can have the free option for a backup landline for my elderly relative.
