I am very happy with the expertise of Geek Squad people, especially in local stores. The oversees employees oftendo not alwayshave the skills to fix issues you need and often do not understand your problem.

The Geek Squad is another reason I went back to best Buy to purchase my new computer. Although sometimes you have to wait, it's worth it to get expert advise. The Geek Squad added an extra 2 Terabytes to my hard drive- something I could never do.

Took my Surface laptop in to be re-started and bright bavk to factory settings. Returned a few days later although it was ready the next day. Took it home and the keyboard wouldn’t work. Went back and they installed a driver and after a bunch of updates , my laptop is running like new. The employees at BB Geeksquad were wonderful - although I never scheduled an appointment they were quick and efficient and explained things well.

I just finished building my first PC from scratch, and overall, it was a great experience. I’m a beginner, but with help from YouTube and ChatGPT, I was able to get everything installed and wired correctly. First power up, everything came on, fans whirring, lights flashing but thats where the fun came to a pause. I ran into issues while installing Windows 11 from a USB drive. No matter what I tried, I couldn’t get it to boot properly using the ISO. After spending hours troubleshooting, I finally took it to Geek Squad, and they had it installed and running in about two hours. Huge relief! Everything’s working great now, and I’m proud of how much I learned through the process. Geek Squad was knowledgeable, gave me kudos on my build and said this can happen, so loved their reassurance too...Highly recommend if all else fails!

They performed clean reinstall of windows 11 after my Asus crashed from the GPU. My asus studiobook would not complete the factory reset on its own. I asked Geek Squad to check my hardware to mske sure everything was ok and they did not check the GPU, which was dead. But they did what I asked/paid for quickly. I'm just not a fan of standing in line at Best Buy.

This was done in approximately half an hour. Fixedy computer keyboard & kept over nite to put programs back on manufacture lost. I really appreciate all that was done and how efficient

The Windows 10 installation, was necessary because my old HD was not operating properly, installed a new SSD and reinstalled the windows 10,but the old HD 'lost' the product key. The Geek Squad tech, help me find a new product key(at a great price) and got my Windows 10 OS, running great and did this right there no need to return or leave device. This tech, Charles Rao was very helpful the entire time informed me of everything I needed to know. My computer runs like new. It's an old machine, really grateful for the, Geek Squad.

Called the Geek Squad for help on a router that we had purchased and was having problems. They were very helpful and gave me the information that I needed to get a Router/Modem that would work in our home. Even had them help out with my laptop several months ago and was very pleased with the professional manner and wisdom of the tech. I highly recommend them.

Had to use Geek Squad services when my laptop stopped working. They were very good at explaining what they needed to do and worked with me to find a solution.

The Geek squad is one of the best features of Best Buy. I have brought in various computers for assistance. They are so knowledgeable and not just “computer geeks”. They have cloned my laptop for me and were able to move all documents, etc from my old laptop to the new one in very little time! Their service is a GREAT service! my

They were very helpful and they did a great job for what I needed for my MacBook. They were very nice and worked pretty fast.

Was overwhelmed with end user fixes and needed an extra set of hands to help with the work. The team was courteous, knowledgeable, and great to work on my overload.

Data transfer went smoothly except for the quicken files. My software was from 2002 and wasn’t compatible with today’s software program. We finally got it working and all is great!!!!

Agents were able to install my corrupted windows and get a new windows downloaded the same day

It seems my computer was too old to install Windows 11. It had Windows 10 originally installed but unable to upgrade. I suppose it's not necessarily Best Buy's fault, although I was a little suspicious since (at the time) my desktop had all the top line features. Best processor, a TB of storage, good RAM, graphics card, and so on. My only issue was the time it took to get anyone to help me. The employees helping other customers had me standing at the counter for several minutes. Definitely more than 15 minutes but not more than an hour. Still, I felt someone should be at the counter to tell customers there would be a wait or answer simple questions. I only waited to pick up my computer and no one would help me. I'm not blaming them for helping other customers. It just seemed short staffed and someone really should be at the counter instead of letting customers wait without any idea when they might be helped.

Wonderful service from the in-house Geek Squad at my local Best Buy. Installed new operating system same day and had my device back in my hands 3.5 hours after dropping it off!

Geek squad went ABOVE and BEYOND on providing outstanding service on my computers I needed cleared and refixed up. They took time and patience on helping me with all my questions I have asked and needing to understand the new updates. Happy with their service and time. Would go back for any questions if needed.

Greeks came to the resue, downloaded windows and was a black-out screen and couldnt get back into my computer. I gave-up it up for dead. I made appt. and in few hours I was back online brand new. I had other questions, when I came back that I no problem helping me. The price was right!
