This is an awesome band and the kicker is..... they actually write all their own music! It's so refreshing to listen to true artists instead of the junk being pumped out of the radios now. I would recommend this if you want to rock out. I only wish there were more songs Ho Hum.

The beginning for metal/rocks most epic band, can be heard in their first album Opiate. A Treasure for huge Tool fans and a good starting point for those who just started listening.

My favorite band and you can only get the album at stores. Not on iTunes or any other like music provider. Support your music. Buy albums.

Another catch that adds those great songs to one's playlist. Great addition to this groups collection.

For an extended play, it is good. It's not a pure studio album, so the sound quality isn't expected to be great. Lyrics are still wonderful, however.

Tools first album short and very raw but a good album!

With only 6 tracks (7 songs) at 27mins, this EP was released the year before Tool’s 1st LP Undertow and It’s a taste of their unique sound that continues to evolve thru their next 4 albums. The songs on this EP are not as refined as their later works but still more deep and visceral than other heavy metal, and so mesmerizing that the music just engulfs your thoughts and senses.

When Opiate was released, nobody could fathom what Tool would become. While Opiate is a peek into what they are capable off, the raw energy it produces is unreal

Great album, Had to buy a real CD since it cannot be downloaded. I don't mind though, worth it for one of the best rock bands ever.

All you have to say is TOOL! Their first album and maybe the best one. Truly hard to replace this one in the vehicle.

Tool is one of my favorite most underrated bands I wish they would make more music. A must have for any tool fan..

So heavy, psychedelic and progressive this EP has it all. Favorite song is Hush.

Tool is band that makes want to pick up instrument and start playing and this recording has menu to get you going.

Short and sweet. This is just an EP but it's early Tool and it is awesome!

This album has a uniqueness to it that you would come to know. It is a good but short album.
