    The little projector that can

So I only purchased this while on sale. My other Optoma GT720 projector has dead pixel issues going. In comparison to that one, this is quite a bit better in picture quality. This projector here lacks rca, component and optical in or out. I was upset at first when I realized it doesn't have optical or rca output. It does do audio output through the internal speakers. Make sure you turn off noise reduction or it will sound like a high pitched mess. If you want audio out here's what you have to do. I just figured this out after nearly a month of dealing with this problem. This projector comes with what looks like a proprietary connector on the back that says I / O above it. The cable for that connector IS supplied with the projector. The other end is a male VGA AND a female phono jack. I had to use a MALE to MALE Phono Cable to connect the projector to my surround system using the Line In function. The downside is you'll have more of a mess of connections coming out of the projector since you'll have to use that cable just for audio. It's made to connect to your laptop or device like that. Also the other downside is the volume going through your surround system is now controlled by the volume of the projector. If you mute the projector speakers then you shut off the volume going to your surround system. It's like having surround connected to your tv and you have to have both on just to have surround sound. Moving on... This projector looks really good. I'd say it's bright enough for being 500 lumens. My room is very dark too. Very easy to setup and is much smaller than you thought once you actually hold it. Has good weight and feels sturdy. Doesn't feel cheap. What I don't like is the remote control must be facing the projector at a specific spot to work. I sit in front of mine and I have to reach over and point very precisely in order for it to work. I also wish they would of added another support screw in the front to prevent wobbling when handling it or using the buttons on the unit itself. Overall I rated it 5* only because I figured out the audio out issue or workaround. 4 stars had I not. Also before I forget, this doesn't have a short throw ratio so you can't have a huge image while it's really close to the wall you wish to display the image onto. Want a large image then you need to have the unit further away from the display wall. My room is 10 x 11 and I get a really good size image still. Probably around 80" or so. That's a guess. Conclusion: If you want a projector and one that does the job quite well and is very compact then this is it. I wouldn't pay full price unless some of the minor issues are added into future units. I highly recommend it.

Needed a small compact projector for work, as I travel a lot. This is a perfect size, weight and has ample resolution. I have actually purchased 4 of these for my colleagues.

We use this projector in our home theater and I was concerned it would be bright enough but it is plenty bright! Our previous projector was not LED and I was always concerned about the bulb going out but then some sort of digital chip went out instead and we had black and white speckles all over the screen. It was going to cost about $300 to get it replaced so we decided to go with an LED projector instead. We are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this to anyone wanting a great projector at a reasonable price.

Picture quality is good. Biggest drawback is that you have hardware everything to it. No battery either. If it is going to be at the same location, it's a good one to have.

I never expected a 1080p projector that I can practically carry in my pocket! It's so easy to set up. I will do better with a real projection screen but a wall works just fine. Very impressive!

I have purchased this for my parents in India. They love watching movies, it is easy to use .. and less manual work to set up this tiny little projector. All you need is HDMI cable to connect. I used chromecast dongle to this projector and it works seamlessly.
