I’m really impressed with the Oral-B iO Series electric toothbrush! It’s incredibly smart and makes brushing so much more effective. I love how it digitally tracks my brushing time and shows exactly how long I’ve spent on each area. The pressure sensor with light indicators helps me maintain the perfect balance — not too hard, not too soft. Plus, the adjustable settings make it fully personalized. Got this on sale for $249. Definitely worth it in my opinion. I love the color, and it feels like it has a slip resistant coating. I get around 2 weeks battery life and it only take around 3 hours to fully charge. I love having the option to use the oral b app that shows the inside of your mouth, or the io sense base that keeps the time and shows you where you are in your mouth. Overall, such a clean feeling after every use. Definitely worth the price if you can find it on sale. My daughter even commented on how white my teeth are now.

It actually pains me to right this review, because I do love how well this brush cleans my teeth. It definitely gives you the “fresh-from-the-dentist” clean feeling, and even helps remove staining. The issue is not with the performance, it is solely related to the battery. The batteries fail to take a full charge after a time, and it has happened to multiple brushes. I bought the IO 9, and it failed at about the 1-year mark. The display shows the battery between 30-40%, but it dies in the middle of brushing your teeth. I am religious about properly charging the battery. I never put it on the charger until it is under 10%, and never take it off until it’s fully charged. I liked the IO 9’s performance, so (after my frustration reached its peak with battery issue) I thought I would try the IO 10 (X). I hoped that they would have corrected this issue with the new generation. It actually turned out to be worse. I am a little over 3 months in, and it has started doing the same thing. Sadly, I will not be purchasing anymore Oral B products. I have not contacted warranty, and do not plan to. I’m not interested in going through the hassle of shipping the return, or waiting to receive a new one. I’m afraid the whole scenario is just totally unacceptable when you pay $400 for a toothbrush. Also, for those wondering, there is no real difference between the 9 and the 10 (X). The 10 has a little different paint job, and the charging base has lights on it that are supposed to track your progress cleaning the different sectors of your mouth. It works properly about 25% of the time. Oh, it has a digital clock/timer too. There is no (zero, none) difference in the actual functions or performance. Just my two cents, which I’m told is worth about $3.50. :)

Good investment if you prioritize oral care.

It organizes your daily routine for healthy teeth. The application itself make you run the habit easily. I gave four because it sometimes stops and starts while brushing and you can’t decide the start time sometimes you start sometimes it starts itself. However it worth buying for fresh teeth and breath

Good price on a top of the line brush. I switched over from a sonicare top of the line model and while the brushing is a bit different, this feels like it cleans a little better. The rest of the features are about the same. One big difference is that it doesn’t stop on its own after the duration time you set. It just buzzes every 20 seconds.

I actually like the Oral-B iO10 as a toothbrush. The cleaning performance is good, it feels premium, and when everything is working properly it does the basic job very well. Unfortunately, the battery issues have made it impossible for me to recommend—especially at $400. My original iO10 developed battery problems after about 1.5 years and was replaced under warranty. Now, approximately another 1.5 years later, the replacement is doing essentially the same thing. The battery will no longer reliably hold a charge, and the displayed charge level doesn’t seem to accurately represent how much battery is actually left. At this point, the only practical solution is to keep putting it back on the charger constantly. I could overlook mediocre battery longevity on an inexpensive electric toothbrush. On a toothbrush at this price, having two units develop significant battery problems within roughly three years is unacceptable. I also wouldn’t buy the iO10 specifically for its app, AI features, or “smart” brushing capabilities. In my experience, those features are much more gimmicky than useful. The coverage detection routinely seems inaccurate about which areas of my mouth I’ve brushed, which greatly reduces the usefulness of the coaching. I’m also skeptical of the pressure feedback because it doesn’t always seem consistent with the pressure I’m actually applying. That is really the frustrating part: underneath all of this is a toothbrush that I genuinely like using. But Oral-B has surrounded it with expensive technology that, in my experience, doesn’t add much value while seemingly overlooking something much more important—battery reliability. If you’re considering spending $400 because you want Oral-B’s highest-end toothbrush, I would seriously consider one of the less expensive iO models instead. You may get most of the actual brushing benefit without paying such a large premium for features that aren’t particularly useful. Based on my experience with two iO10 units and repeated battery failure, I would not purchase this model again.

This toothbrush is great, but the software and sync isn't up to snuff! I've had to reinstall the software multiple times to get it to work correctly, and I've just given up! I contacted customer support, but have yet to hear back from them. Just NOT worth the $400 I spent on it! Get an earlier model without the glitchy software!

I will never brush with another toothbrush again!! You can feel the difference in cleanliness of your teeth after using it compared to other toothbrushes I have used before. It is definitely worth the hype that the commercials project! Also worth the price you pay for this toothbrush.

Great cleaning brush. I enjoy the guided and pulsating experience. My teeth are already whitening in two weeks.

I wasn't sure about it as I had the old models years ago and they weren't fast enough, just nothing but torque which didn't seem to clean very well. This io series is a whole different ball game. Higher rpm's rather than slow torque. Hight recommend! I guess i should say that I didn't pay full price, but got it on sale.

I upgraded from the Genius 8600 and this is an amazing unit. Unit is expensive but so far, I am happy with it. A draw back of this, is the brush heads are different from the Genius series heads. Wish they were the same but I guess change is good. You use it for for the 2 or so minutes a brush and it's down to 95/94% battery and chargers as soon as you put it back on the base. this unit should not always charge the battery after every use. There should have been a feature to allow the battery in the unit to go down to 50% before start to charge again. Other than that, I like the "upgrade". One good thing I had was that I banked my points and then I used them on this. So the price wasn't bad, after that. Still an expensive unit though.

Just buy it!!! It’s something you use at least one week! It gives my tooth that just visited the dentist feeling. I just might get kissed again. Time will tell….

Does a great job overall with cleaning and has a lot of great features. I almost did not select this item because I didn’t like the color options, specifically the random dot/ paint pattern. I would not buy this again because I really dislike the toothbrush head when compared with Sonicare. The cleaning itself is really good but the toothbrush head has mutilple holes in it causing it to leak toothpaste unless I am looking up at the ceiling the entire time.

The round bristles have been great for me! Took a bit to get used to, but it cleans fantastically!
