Good movie funny intertaining Sylvester at 1 of his best

Another 90's classic film released on Bluray, I have owned this movie on VHS tape, DVD and now on Bluray. This movie has an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 meaning it's a widescreen format without any black bars on top or bottom of the screen, it has a closed caption option and the audio is in stereo... no 5.1 settings. If you are using a home theater system you may be able to set the audio through Dolby Pro logic II depending on your receiver. In case you don't know what Dolby Pro logic ll is it's an audio setting that converts standard stereo audio into an artificial 5.1 (it tries to sound like 5.1 but you will notice it sounds a little off and unnatural)

this is not the hard core Sylvester Stallone, it's a funny movie, which he only made 3 or 4 off. I had this movie on my wish list for a while, last time I seen it there wasn't no DVD or BR - very funny mobster trying to go straight lol...price is pretty high and honestly I only got it cause I had to use a $10 reward certificate which put it at $7.99

Not your typical Stallone film, but it's fantastic. Very funny, with fantastic comedic timing and a terrific cast. The Blu-ray looks fine, but definitely could use some more special features.

My wife and I were teens when this film came out and we just adore it. So very funny! We wanted to own on disc before physical media goes completely extinct.

One of my favorite comedy movies from my youth. Sadly, it’s just a grainy upscale of a dvd with a ton of digital sharpening. Everything has a soft focus, colors are blurred, and it’s just a mess. This is a dollar bin quality transfer. While originally a Disney/Touchtone film, Disney had nothing to do with this. Seems they sold the film to someone burning discs in his mom’s basement. Audio is sharp and crisp. Again, no difference from the dvd. Glad to have it because my old dvd is starting to wear out, but I’m sad to see no effort was put into this film whatsoever.

My wife watched this movie a lot as she was a young girl, and this is a nostalgic film for her. The blu-ray obviously looks far better than the old DVD we were used to watching. The film itself is hit or miss…

Oscar is a hilarious comedy. Who knew a Mafia movie could be so funny?

'Oscar' isn't one of Stallone's best, but it's not at all his worst, and he actually gives a decent comedic performance in it. Widescreen, nothing in terms of extras. Recommended to fans.

The twists and turns in the story are great. Keeps you laughing.

Poor acting, poor plot. I'd rate it as one of the worst movies I've seen. I actually had to shut if off 40 minutes into the movie. Couldn't take any more.
