I am a guitar teacher and I purchased this Uke for a class I'm getting ready to teach. I was pleasantly surprised by the instrument, I was expecting a typical Chinese quality instrument but it's built much better than I had anticipated. The finish is surprisingly well done, no drips, runs, or orange peel.. As hard as it is to admit, the finish is actually just as good as on some of my high-end custom guitars and this thing was cheaper than the cases for those instruments lol.. Sound quality is good, it has a lot of volume and doesn't feel over braced.. it came fairly well setup straight out of the box. I probably will shave the bridge just a little for personal preference but playability is fine for most people. Overall it's a great choice and i would recommend it as a good value for a solid beginner/mid-range ukulele.. no complaints.
