If this was a beauty contest, this Oster Blender would have lost already. Of course, that’s a personal subjective opinion. But with 800-watt power, it can do more than just smoothies. I haven’t tried to make peanut or almond butter with it as I have one blender specifically for that function, but you don’t need to cut fruits in tiny pieces. It can handle even ice easily. The included to-go cup is very handy since I can take my smoothies wherever I go, which is very important for my healthy eating style and workouts. It even has a setting specifically for smoothies and another for salsa. Just what I needed. Most importantly, it performs extremely well. Whatever I throw in it, I handles it without a glitch. Not only my girlfriend but I also liked that the glass jar is dishwasher safe, which is great since hand washing these jars and cups are no fun. Many blenders out there come with plastic jars that are a pain to clean and not very good for your health either, even when they are BPA free. Not this one. Glass is the way to go. Thanks Oster. Although it doesn’t have a premium look, it feels and performs like a more expensive blender. There isn’t much else to talk about it. It is good for daily blending and excellent for smoothies. For what it does and for the quality, I am giving it five stars.

This Oster 800w 2-in-1 blender system totally does the job for my needs. This unit is way smaller than the huge $200 blenders and I appreciate its smaller size. It takes only a small amount of storage space and due to its lighter weight, it’s very easy to put up in the cupboard. This blender has enough power to complete the blending jobs I want from it. The glass blender jar is narrow at the bottom so liquids and soft fruits or veggies should go in first especially when blending ice. This does a great job, simply. Only 2 pre-programmed cycles - salsa and smoothie, which may or may not make them to your desired texture. I like to finish my blends to my liking manually. With the high, medium, low and pulse settings, I can personalize my blend jobs. It does come with a 20 oz Blend-n-Go cup but I have to transfer the blades to the top of the cup and I don’t want to add more risk of cutting myself with the extremely sharp blades so I may use the cup for drinking only, not for blending. Oster truly stands behind this product with a 3 year limited warranty on parts AND labor. That’s great. I like the basic, uncomplicated simplicity of this blender. I like the size and light weight, and the ample power. I would recommend this blender especially for your smaller blend jobs.

Got this primarily to make salsas/hot sauces. The blend gives you a smooth though still textured hot sauce. It immediately and easily blends/chops.

This product works great and is a great value. I would buy another one for my workplace to use.

Love this blender! Great price point and durable. I bought it to make my morning smoothie. I was looking for one with glass construction and this has it. Oster is a company that has been around for a long time. Also included in the purchase is a convienent cup to take your smoothie on the go.
