    A Solid Basic Blender

The Oster® 2-in-1 Blender System with Blend-n-Go™ Cup and 800-Watt Motor is pretty much what I would expect from Oster for a basic blender in this price range. Easy to use and does a good job with most normal jobs. Like others, I'd prefer not to have to move the blade between the 2 containers. The fact that it is so light makes it much easier to bring down from the shelf or up from the cabinet. And its power is clearly beyond what you expect from it's weight. Here's my wife take: "Oster: the gray tone is pleasant to look at sitting on my counter—not as “Darth Vader” looking as the black heavy blenders to which I am accustomed. It’s very light weight, which means it’s definitely a “go to” item for everyday use. In fact, It is so light weight, I was skeptical of its ability to actually do much real work. But it surprised me by smoothing my smoothie in quick time. It’s a great blender, for a good price."

This is a solid blender doing solid blender things. Out of the box the blender is not exactly eye candy on my countertop. The material and build make up for the aesthetics though. This device feels like it will last for years to come. The base is made from metal and plastic and jars are thick glass. The blender is loud but extraordinarily strong so reverently so. This unit can easily crush thick ice cubes, fruits, and vegetables. The availably to blend a “To-Go” smoothie / drink is always a plus. Hooking in this tumbler was easy and no mess. I have tested several blenders over the years, and it really always comes down to does it blend and will it blend well, this one does both!

Great blender. But it is very loud. The screw bottom can be difficult to lock and liquid can spill. Must make sure bottom is screwed on properly..

Thank you for contacting Oster®! We appreciate you bringing this up to our attention regarding the Oster 2-in-1 Blender System with Blend-n-Go Cup and we apologize that it's too loud.

Noise from the blender happens when a spinning blade hits speeds high enough to pulverize solids into liquid.

If you have any questions regarding the warranty or would like to obtain warranty service, please contact us. Have a great day! Oster

One of the things that seem most important to me in a product is that it can execute the function or functions for which it was designed correctly and without complications, that is, once having everything ready and/or configured, one can start using that product you pay for right away. Well I must say that this product adheres to the aforementioned, in the first place the unboxing is very simple since the blender is only removed from the box, the blades are placed, it is connected to the power and it is ready to use, not much attention was paid to the packaged but at the end that does not influence the performance of the blender which by the way is good. The base of the blender has some buttons that in my opinion are more than enough since you have two buttons previously configured to blend sauce or smoothie, and other buttons to control the speed and pulse of the blades and that part that makes it simple for me. I am not an expert in the kitchen but I can say that this blender has a motor that gives it the ability to crush ice but also to prepare sauces with a very good consistency, in my opinion, if a simple but effective and easy blender is required to use this is an excellent option, highly recommended.

    Oster 2 in 1 Blender

The Oster 2 in 1 blender has 2 preprogrammed buttons. 1 for smoothies and 1 for salsa. The remaining buttons are power, pulse, low, medium, and high. The unit has an 800-watt motor, thus allowing for easy ice crushing. The blender cup holds 6 cups and the to go cup holds 20 ounces. The cutter fits both the to go cup and the glass jar. The base motor has four rubber feet holding the unit securely to the countertop. While making a smoothie I had to stop the machine and push the chunks to the bottom. It took 2 complete cycles. There were no problems making salsa. The unit crushed ice without any problems. Making another batch of smoothies was without the problem I had in the first. I gave this unit 4 Stars because the blender is a little on the loud side. I would recommend the Oster 2 in 1 system to friends and family.

The Oster - Oster® 2-in-1 Blender System with Blend-n-Go™ Cup is awesome! I love the design, the ease of use and the results are just phenomenal. The unit is super easy to use. Blend your favorite vegetables, ice, and other ingredients with ease into a delicious drink or soup in no time. The automatic functions are a huge time saver and they get it right. For example, the salsa function is outstanding! Blends the tomatoes, spices, etc to perfection. Not too thick, and not extremely soupy. I love it. The unit is easy to clean which makes maintenance a breeze. This blender looks great in my bar area. Extremely excited to keep using it and I know it will be around for a long time to come thanks to the durable design. I highly recommend the Oster - Oster® 2-in-1 Blender System with Blend-n-Go™ Cup and 800-Watt Motor - Gray.

My wife LOVES this blender from Oster. Unpacking and setup is very simple. It comes with both a large glass jar and a small, single plastic jar. It has stainless steel blades and my wife loves how it is diminutive and fits nicely on the counter. We were very impressed by the power of this blender. It makes smoothies in a snap without leaving large chunks of ice unchopped. It is easy to clean. It has a salsa which we have not used yet, a smoothie setting which works wonderfully, and low, med, high, and pulse for all your other needs. You would do well to put this blender on your counter.

Really like the Oster 2-in-1 system. Opening the box, you get the 800-watt motor w/ all-metal drive, a Boroclass glass 6-cup jar, and a 20oz. Blend-n-Go cup with lid for on the go. Usually, these blenders with the tapered bottom don’t blend or crush very well, so I was a little apprehensive about its ability to crush ice. I made a smooth using large half-moon ice from my GE fridge, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, and a small amount of water (something close to the picture on the front of the box. I tried all 3 speeds as well as the smoothie setting. There’s also a salsa program and I gave it a try as well. All the settings were able to break/crush the frozen ice and fruit. Once it was broken down, I used the smoothie program and watched it create a whirlpool down the center of the mix. It came out tasty and I’m sure I’ll be trying the Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto recipe off the side of the box real soon. All in all, this is a great blender for making a small batch of any blended food. The glass jar is rare to find anymore, and I like having one that works. Everything is super easy to clean. It has the Oster screw on bottom that’s been around forever. Just unscrew and clean or add a bit of soap and press a speed button to wash the jar. The blades and bottom fit the Blend-n-Go cup, so you don’t have to break out the large glass jar for a single blended drink. I’d recommend this to anyone that drinks a smoothie more than a few times a week. It doesn’t take up much counter or cabinet space and I’m sure you’ll have just as much success with it that I have.

We have used Oster brand blenders many times and this one does not disappoint. It crushes ice well, purifies the fruit in our smoothies just right and I like to use the pulse option when I’m making salsa so I don’t mince everything too finely however, it does have a preset for it that did great with all of my ingredients. The extra blend and go container comes in handy for getting everything ready and hopping in the car to head out. It is made well, feels solid and looks great on the counter against the backdrop of our appliances. Another great selling point is the three year warranty. Great Blender!

Good Blender but Auto modes are just ok

I like that this blender came with a dual purpose. It can blend larger smoothies/salsa and other drinks well. I really like that the included cup allows me to make a breakfast smoothie for 2 days and I pour day 1 in the cup and the pitcher goes in the fridge for day 2. This has allowed me to have less work to prep in the mornings on every other day. I tried the auto mode for the smoothie and it was ok. I still ended up using the pulse for a little longer to get all of the chunks out. The noise is just ok but blenders will be noisy. Overall the size is decent. Not too big and not to small.

The Oster 2-1 blender system is a no frills blender that will blend almost anything you throw at it, as long as it’s nothing too heavy duty. It’ll blend anything but how reliable this blender is under heavy loads in the long run has yet to be seen. The selling point of this blender is the fact that it comes with a blender cup, if you want to blend something directly in the cup you can, for example put some fruits in it, twist on the blade and then just place it on the blender, once done put on the lid on the cup and you’re ready to go. The base itself is not very heavy duty in my opinion, there are better and more powerful blenders out there, but it is acceptable for its price range Overall there are seven buttons, The on off switch, low medium high settings, A smoothie and salsa “auto program” and a pulse button. So this is a Pretty standard, mid-tier, full-size no frills blender, that overall gets the job done at a moderate price.

Simple and clean and easy to use! I like how it's a quality product and doesn't feel cheap and plasticky. Blends really well and gives you a nice and smooth smoothie. I haven't tried milkshakes yet but I'm looking forward to it. Makes a great affordable gift especially since it's on sale now too!
