This blender is a piece of junk. I returned it because it kept cutting off while blending. It's cheap don't waste your money or time

I was pleasantly surprised with the power and speed of this blender. Typically they do not perform at an acceptable level but this one worked great. The preprogrammed setting work about Luke all the other on the market - not great but will get you most of the way

This Oster 2 in 1 blender is a very nice product. It is designed with a glass carafe and metal blade - two very important features. It has the standard low, medium, high and pulse buttons that you need. Plus it has two programmed auto mix settings. One is for smoothies and the other is for salsa. I first tried the smoothie button. I used a mixture of ice cubes, some mango-cranberry juice, a banana and some frozen mango pieces. The smoothie came out perfectly ‘smooth’ and icy cold – very tasty. You also get a smaller 20 cup carafe that can be used on the blender and then capped and taken on the road. This was handy and this cup did fit well in my car’s cup holders. I also crushed ice easily using this blender and the glass carafe with the metal blades which crush the ice without a problem. I do highly recommend this well designed blender.

I blended some margaritas and it crushed the ice effortlessly. I tested the Salsa setting and our salsa came out perfect and delicious. The build quality on this unit is exactly what you would expect from this level of blender. While the motor and blades are metal, not much else is. I appreciate the glass blender pitcher and the togo cup but I would've welcomed a little more substantial sturdiness that a metal base would have offered. To be fair, this is made for one thing and it does that one thing very well. I can't deduct a star for build quality if it doesn't affect the functionality of the blending. At the end of the day its a great blender that does exactly what you bought it for.

Oster 2-in-1 Blender System Included- 6 cup jar, base with power cord, blend-n-go cup, manual I think this Oster 2-in-1 blender is a great basic blender. It has 2 preset modes- smoothies and salsa. There is a low, medium, high speed and pulse. It hasn't had any problems cutting through the ice for smoothies with it's 800 of watts power. The noise level isn't as loud and overbearing as other blenders. The 20oz blend and go cup is a nice bonus, but do wish the cup was larger or included a big and small size. Clean up is nice because the jar, lid and blend-n-go cup all are dishwasher safe. My teenage son blends up smoothies and protein drinks daily and this will be great for him to take when he goes off to college next year.

So I received my Oster 2-In-1 blender a few days ago and have been putting it through its paces. Inside the box comes a 6 Cup glass Jar, motor base, 20oz. Blend-N-Go cup and user manual and the usual user documentation. On the front of the motor base is the power button, Auto Programs Buttons (smoothies, salsa), Pulse Button, as well as Low, Medium, and High. I've been using my blender for my morning and afternoon protein shakes before and after my workouts. The blender works well and the Blend-N-Go cup makes taking my shakes easier when I'm on the go. This blender is decent at best, probably other blenders that does the job a little better, but it's still a good blender all around.

Straight up - using this blender is fun! Even the box the blender comes packaged in, was colorful and fun. There are two simple and basic recipes on the box itself - one for Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto, and one for a Rainforest Smoothie. The easy-to-follow instructions with ‘order of blender jar assembly’, ‘order of ingredients’, ‘guide to manual speeds’, and ‘easy cleaning tips’ are printed right there on the inner flaps of the box, too. Plus, there’s a handy user guide and helpful tips sheet included. The motor base unit is lighter than I’d have expected, though the base sits stable on the counter and stays put during a blending cycle. The 6-cup Boroclass glass jar is nice and thick, definitely well made. Word of caution - the blades are very very sharp! Seriously sharp. Do take great care when cleaning. Seriously! Following the standard directions for how much of each ingredient, and most importantly, the particular order to put the ingredients into the blender, is vital to pay attention to so that the blender can perform optimally and you get the best results. What’s particularly cool about this Oster blender is the auto-programmed ‘Smoothie’ and ‘Salsa’ buttons. Of course, there’s also the usual manual blend settings - low, medium, and high - along with the pulse function. Once I’d washed all the blender parts, prior to my initial use, the smoothie I first made was almost perfect. Just needed a bit of tweaking next time. Then I tried a shake, which turned out better. Delish! The husband will enjoy making his own homemade recipe for salsa. As for how loud the blender is when it’s working, this model Oster sounds average in loudness level; actually I’d say a bit less grindy sounding. The vibration of the blender on the counter isn’t that bad either, compared to other blenders I’ve used. The only real ‘cons’ I can mention, is one … the Blend-n-Go cup is “underwhelming” and its lid is kinda hard to open. Which I guess is good, sorta, as that should prevent the lid from popping open easily so the contents spill or leak out if the cup gets tipped over. And two … the filler ‘cap’ for the jar lid is really, really cheaply made. I’m certain it would break or chip if dropped, and probably won’t last for the life of the blender. Overall, this Oster blender is a good value for its cost. It’s a solid machine, and the basic features are there. Recommend.

Perfect size blend-n-go cup. Used it for a few smoothies and seems to have plenty of power for whatever you throw at it.

I make something my after-run smoothies in this and they always come out well blended and the ice perfectly crushed. With the blend and go attachment I got the perfect storm and a perfect cup. Finally got around to making my famous salsa last night came out great just needed some more tomato sauce.

The Blender system gives you the traditional blender while adding a blender cup, similar to their competitors for on-the-go smoothies, or other blend. While I found this product powerful, it definitely lacks the style and design of more premium brands. It got the job done, but looks and feels a bit "plasticy." PROS - Oster brand and design - 800 watts of blending power - To-Go Cup or traditional blender - Cost-effective CONS - Feels on the cheap side, but will still get the job done.

Very straightforward blender. Has both settings for salsa and frozen drinks. The included 20oz cups are nice too! No complaints really. Would by another if I needed one.

This is a great product for the price. My wife loves it She makes one or two smoothies every day.

This is my favorite blender for years nice quality.

I don’t recommend it. I have been trying to make an smoothie and it always have the entire pieces of fruit there. The blades only moves in one side.
