I like the ability to check the doneness if the toast and to cancel. An internal rack arrangement holds bread of any thinness vertical so thin bread does not sag into the heating element.

Please take note that with Oster toasters, when bagel setting is used, the toasting period is longer as compared to regular toasting due to the bagel/bread's thickness.
